Where in the Constitution is the authority to randomly search train passengers?
The first comment from the video says it all.
It’s not about security, it’s about *conditioning*.
If they had credible information that a dirty bomb, radioactive material, or explosives were on board do you think they would have the TSA search luggage?? DEA, FBI, Hazmat teams and other emergency response teams would converge and take charge, not several blue-gloved TSA agents.
That exact scenario took place last week AFTER the search by TSA when a Muslim man on an Amtrak train said he had a bomb (Threat in Montana forces evacuation of Amtrak train bound for Oregon). The train was stopped, passengers evacuated, the train searched for eight hours and nationwide traffic on the BNSF's main line delayed for 24 hours.
So lets get real -- a credible threat is handled completely differently than that from TSA searching bags and passengers AFTER a train arrives. This is about TSA and its ability to cower Americans into police-state thinking.
I have to really wonder if it will ever to be possible to nip this kind of BS in the bud???
Before it becomes common place...
When people start refusing this “after the fact” intrusiveness, we are probably not going to be a free nation for much longer, are we...
We’re being tested, as we watch freedom slipping away.
