WMAL: Grandy Not Gagged On Islamic Talk - 3/5 - Midday Saturday, DCRTV received the following statement from WMAL's President/General Manager Jeff Boden: "WMAL did not terminate Fred Grandy's employment, and never had any intention to do so. Fred informed us on March 2 of his intention to resign from the station. To be clear, at no time has WMAL told Fred that he was not allowed to discuss his views on Islam over the air. In fact, he has done so on numerous occasions. Further, WMAL has not been contacted by any organization seeking to restrict his broadcasts. Bryan Nehman continues to anchor our morning program and in the interim will be joined by several notable guest hosts and regular contributors. WMAL remains committed to its goal of providing a forum for discussing a broad spectrum of issues while delivering compelling programming including Chris Plante, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin. I wish Fred success in his future endeavors".....

BTW, WMAL has become the Dhimmi station, and no, Fred has not misrepresented anything.
One might be suspicious of someone joining FR today to present the case today in favor of CAIR and WMAL management’s position regarding this on-air talk jockey’s forced (?) departure. I’m not suspicious. I’m just saying...

It's Fred Grandy’s word against the station's.
It may be true that CAIR never contacted WMAL and specifically requested that Grandy be fired. You cowards were so frightened of CAIR after the Michael Graham situation that they might not have had to contact you. You told Mrs Fred to can it out of fear that CAIR might be annoyed, and in honor a man like Fred, who knows the truth and supports his brave wife, could not possibly allow her to be silenced. Bad enough he tolerated the dismissal of Andy Parks, but to dump this woman for warning about radical Islam—no. Of course he had to resign. Any loving husband would.
We heard about the “loud” conversation emanating from the station manager’s office. We’re sure that if Fred said quietly, “I would like to resign,” and Boden said, “Sure thing, pal,” that transaction wouldn’t have required shouting.
We don’t believe you. No one does.
I agree completely with you. This is the same station i believe, that fired Michael Graham, for similarly trying to provide some honest truth about Islam...
...and that statement carefully avoids mentioning “Mrs Fred”, who has been (rather mildly in my opinion), sharing the other side of Islam, from the taqiyya by CAIR.
I learned a lot from MR Grandy, on many many subjects.
To label him as “gopher” in the title, while true, is not the respect this patriotic American deserves.
And Bryan Nehman is a nice guy, but I have learned nothing from him, and I won’t be listening to the show without Mr Grandy AND Mrs Fred.
I didn’t hear Mrs. Fred much because I’m at work when she came on, but Grandy was the only non-syndicated host worth hearing at WMAL.
Nehman was awful when he had the show before Grandy came back.
