It’s probably photoshopped!
How about the booze and the broads?
Girls On Correctol, if I remember correctly.
From the pictures it looks like they were pretty good.
Security only got called twice and they never did anything.
pookie had permission and was still told not to because of copyright concerns??
Anyway, is it possible to filter blogs out of “latest articles” page? They really are getting annoying, some of them.
I see no evidence of photoshopping!
Blogs don’t get grief.
Blogs that do little more than grab headlines from a news source, post them in their blog entries, and then post one-liners here hoping to get people to go look at their blog where they put the lifted newspaper story — that is what we like to ridicule.
I love the bloggers who write their own opinions and then post the entries here (now me, I just post my opinions here without going through the extra step, but that’s a personal choice). It’s the ones who give you no added value, but pretend that “finding” the news was so important you should go to their blog.
Yes, finding news could be considered a task; drudge does it. But around here, most freepers spend all their time “finding news”, and then we post the links here, at FR, so we can all discuss them. We are all doing that work, without expecting people to go to our blogs to get the results.
The worst bloggers actually lift images and videos, and post them in a way that marks them from the blog, as if the blog generated them. Sometimes they then get upset when links are posted directly to the items.
You’ve gotten your vacation pix mixed in again.
That’s Major Stiffi bringing you your vaccine.
If's "lord". not "laud".
Maybe Pookie should be lauded, but that would be a good thing.
I’m taking my 15 minutes of fame in 1-second increments, so it lasts a lot longer.
My pleasure, GeronL!
I didn’t realize Scott was so accomplished.

These are the literary musings of Scott Maxim, creator of the webtoon “Geeks on Caffeine.”
Which came first: chicken or egg?

lol, this zot is almost painful to read, poor blog pimp.
Will get off of you thread now.
To be added or removed from the VK/ZOT list, FReepmail Darkwing104.
Bye blog pimp. Heh heh
Well dang, I miss the cartoons. I didn’t know what happened to them :(
That is the whole point. It is HIS "content", so there is no need to [excerpt] it; he can, and should, post in the entirety, rather than make a blatent attempt to generate blog hits for revenue enhancement.
OTOH, I would LOVE to see some of these people excerpt and link their opuses.
Observation: Persons in the foreground each have one of their appendages ‘resting’ on the bench. Big time no no...
If nothing else gunner is something else.
I forgot to tell you ............
Kinda funny. Scott Maxim cries about his and wee Bryce’s mistreatment yet he deleted at least one comment since I put on my raincoat and visited his MySpace blog.
A bit of a double standard but that is to be expected from liberals.
LOL!!! Can’t make a joke any more, without finding out some idiot already did it, no matter how ridiculous the premise.
That’s actually copied word-for-word from MV’s blog.

Hey H-G is that your honey? Nice catch! I’m jealous.
I miss your posts.
Which I find to be hilarious.
It must be a disappointing shock to expect righteous
indignation and community-wide condemnation of one's
enemies.. only to wind up a sooty smudge upon the floor.
Did ya’ll read the update? I had to go there, just to see how pathetic that site is, and it is just silly.
“The few cartoons that I saw were not funny or poignant and certainly not worthy of discussion.
It is funny to watch you and your buddy get your widdle feelings hurt though.” - Eaker
“Case in point. The cartoons pimped by brycemax on this forum are the lamest crap you could ever imagine and bring no credit to the conservative cause or FreeRepublic.” - shibumi
Funniest of all, a cliche masquerading as cleverness:
“If you cant take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.” - mlocher
WOW! You dazzled me with your wit on that one! Breathe through your mouth much?
Being able to stand the heat is not the issue at FR. I can take what you dish out and more. The removal of brymax’s posting ability show that FR’s “kitchen” is only for those who belong to a particular clique. Here, only ONE recipe is followed, and any deviation from that in an attempt to do something different results in expulsion.
Oh, in fairness, I did make one error in the blog, and thanks to CharlesWayneCT for pointing that out. Yep, I used the word “laud” instead of “lord” and he is correct in pointing that out. Interesting that he does not refute the content of the article. For your correction, I thank you. For your lack of anything else in the way of a counter point, I find that typical.
One more thing, thanks also to icwhatudo for this post.:
“It is somewhat strange that a homosexual pro-hillary clinton website is welcomed at FR (hillbuzz) but blogs created by conservatives, properly posted in the blogger forum, get grief.
We all have to start somewhere. Drudge was just a blog. Malkin was just a blog. I wonder if they got the stop pimping warning back in the day.”
Truth be told, icwhatudo is representative of the majority of people at freerepublic. It is only a small, closed-minded minority that makes this forum disagreeable. Thanks to those who have offered support in the past and who continue to do so outside of FR.
You know, the simplest thing all of you could have done is simply ignore the strip postings if “GOC” isn’t your thing. No harm no foul. But the FR admin and thug freepers have revealed their true nature: they’re hypocrites to the core! You want everyone to march to your drumbeat, you are intellectually dishonest and you are just like liberals who believe that if you disagree with something, you should eliminate it.
Freerepublic...”Protecting free speech”? Seriously? Not a chance.
The reason is not strange. If the blogger posts his content in full on FR, he gets no grief. If he posts only excerpts - repeatedly - in a clear effort to drive traffic to his blog - in other words, using FR for free advertising - he gets grief.
The solution is simple - full-text posts from their blog. The fact that some bloggers resist shows what their underlying agenda is.
Dude sure has a lot to say about it, doesn't he?
But.. by posting the update here aren't you depriving him of blog hits?
If that's true, HG should get a medal. Family Circus was (is?) the lamest excuse of a comic strip imaginable.
If this shows the limited intellectual horsepower and lack of understanding of the concept of free speech of the writers at that blog site, it is no loss to FR having them gone.
And if you must know how it costs hits, Pookie doesnÂt post the same day the toon is released. He puts it up a couple of days after the fact. Thus no lost hits.
Also, by posting the cartoon within the thread, thereÂs no incentive to go to the site. If youÂre too dense to understand that, then truly you have redefined what Âdope means.
That being said, once again let me state that he has a lot more class than you goombahs and at least respects the manÂs work.
You donÂt have to like it, hell you donÂt have to read it, but common decency would at least dictate that you respect his wishes.
So pookie posting someone else's copyrighted toons, OK.
A freeper posting this blog's toons on FR, not OK.
So who is the hypocrite here?
Well, I'm sure not many people are headed to the blog just to see a few words he / she / it posts and really don give a rat's ***. I seldom click on blog links, since most are blocked at work. I did today since I have a light work day. BTW, is that the cartoon in question?
I think it's a sample of the work, yes. ;-)
Yes, please add me to your ping list!
You happened to reply with one of my pet peeves. My English teacher from high school always told us that excessive use of punctuation was the lack of self esteem and a need to call attention to yourself. That is one reason I love to read the DUmmie FUnnies. You always see the:
Did you see that obommer repealed the DADT bill?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?
Also, the use of capital letters that SCREAM AT OTHER POSTERS.
