We despise child molesters, as anyone who regularly reads this web site knows. But reserved for the lowest rung on the ladder leading to hell is U.S. military personnel who would betray buddies and country by selling top secret information to the enemy.
The latest rat to turn traitor is Navy Intelligence Specialist 2nd Class B. Minkyu Martin. He was nailed by the FBI after he sold top secret documents to someone who turned out to be an American undercover agent. The price of this sailor's perfidy: a lousy $3500.
This punk was arrested just outside Ft. Bragg, N.C. at a hotel where he thought he was going to score some bucks by peddling military information to a foreign power. Instead, he got hand-cuffed and frog-legged to the Naval Brig at Norfolk.
BOASTED HE WANTED TO SELL MORE SECRETS FOR CASH
Investigators swarmed over his property in North Carolina, as well as his parents' home in Mexico, N.Y. It was not clear at press time if his family was also involved in espionage, but if we had to make a bet, we would seriously doubt it.
The arrogant Martin had even bragged to his "contacts" he wanted to steal more and more stuff as his military career progressed. Full of himself, the creep actually thought he might someday end up in the DIA, instead of a cell in the brig.
By waiving a formal Article 32 hearing, Martin goes straight to a court martial. And from what we hear, the feds have a very solid case. They've charged him with four counts of trying to sell classified information and 11 counts of mishandling secret and top-secret documents.
BETRAYAL TOOK PLACE WHILE RAT ASSIGNED TO FORT BRAGG
The crimes took place in the Fort Bragg area where Martin, a petty officer, was training for an up-coming deployment to Afghanistan. He joined the Navy in 2006.
Martin's treason came cheap, as we've reported. Just $3500 to sell out his country. But the creep was greedy for more.
Prior to his arrest and incarceration, Martin was assigned to the Expeditionary Combat Readiness Center at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek, Fort Story. Let's hope his next stop will be an isolation cell at the Leavenworth DB.
If we had our way, he'd swing from a rope.
Death to traitors.
Hang him from the highest yardarm!
Forget the blindfold.
He needs a ‘training accident’.
Thanks Tea Party Reveler.
Being in the Navy, it is a bit embarrassing that it is always the Navy.....I of course am proud of the 99.99999 percent who would never do such a thing but why always the Navy??? lol.
Looks like he can’t meet the weight standard either.
This is a case where a firing squad is warranted. I fear this traitor will likely less time than the true to our nation Sailors, Marines, Soldiers, and Airmen who have been unjustly charged and convicted in acts in war for simply trying to survive and insure their buddies did as well.
Good Lord, don’t they have any fitness standards?
That guy looks like a donut munching Chicago cop.
