I saw that. Did you see Rand Paul's reaction to Obama's speech? It's posted here somewhere. He basically used Woods' arguments.
Levin meanwhile, can do no better than "everybody does it," which would be a pathetic argument even if it were true. But, never forget, the neocons OWN the GOP, and their mouthpieces.

You’re right. I’m sorry. It goes back to Eisenhower days, William Buckley etc. If you google birch society and neoconservative, you’ll find plenty of info. If you look up john birch society on wiki, you’ll find some decent info there that will lead you to deeper info. Sorry again.

The Left controls the dialogue.
Look at Kagan of the Supreme Court. I would have asked her if she still thinks Alger Hiss and the Rosenbergs are innocent. Many on the Left still do and her family, NYC Communist to the Core, were in the forefront of the fight to free them.
The Left clings to the idea of their innocence despite overwhelming evidence from the Soviet Union that they were KGB operatives.
If John Birch weren't a nut to begin with, he certainly, like me, would have wound up a nut after dealing with the Left for a few decades.
