Greta shows Fox Conservatives how to be Conservative

Did anyone catch Greta Van Susteren b slapping that New Jersey Senator Rob Andrews? He started on some typical left wing nonsense trying to blame the Republicans for the waste and started trying to advance some "common sense idea" of his own.

She jumped on him saying "if it was such a good idea than why didn't you Democrats do this over the past two years when you controlled all 3 branches of government." She didn't relent and was talking about how they "are driving her crazy..."

It's definitely worth the watch. This was right after she had MY CONGRESSMAN Allen West on and she kept singing his praises for his recent bill that was just unanimously passed in his freshman year.

tonightIt is really amazing to see the change in Greta Van Susteren. I never thought I would see the day when Greta was the best conservative on Fox News' evenings. At this point it looks like she could teach the Mitt Romultized Sean Hannity a few things. Maybe her conservativism will rub off on him before the 2012 election and he will leave his knee pads at home this election!

I noticed that too. I’m not a Palin fan as a candidate but I think she’s a true conservative and Greta seemed to hit it off with her from the beginning as well.

She started taking a new look at things when the left trashed Sarah Palin. That really pissed Greta off.

Yes. I almost forgot that it used to be nothing but tabloid TV. I also noticed that her show seems to be the only show Rush visits.

Hey thanks for mentioning this.

Usually a “D” is enough to get me to fast forward on Greta.

I’ll have to go back and re-watch this at normal speed.

Thanks for the heads up!

Rob Andrews is a House member, not Senator.

Thanks. I actually did know that but it’s getting late. But the emphasized point is Greta, not the particular Rep.

Greta does a great job, and she has not sounded like a democrat for a long time.

Her husband ,John Coale ,has been an adviser to Sarah Palin ,but not a paid adviser.

Coale supported McCain and Palin because of the way the Obama bunch treated Hillary, whom he also used to advise.

It seems he thinks women in politics are treated unfairly.

Why is it that women are less ashamed to express conservative views than men? I don’t get it. Have men been so emasculated that they’re afraid to assert themselves?

I admit to a change of heart and opinion about her. Initially, I was prepared to dismiss her as a Fox attempt to show it is balanced, a female compliment to Jerry Rivers.

While her time slot makes it more difficult to watch her show, when I do she's usually good, often quite good, and on average I'm better informed for having watched.

She could be a far left demonrat for all I know and if she is, then she is also a professional journalist since I don't know one way or another.

For the past year or so, Greta is the one Fox show I try not to miss. Without all the hullabaloo and talkovers, she runs the best show on cable news. Quietly, effectively.

Greta is truly a 'professional'. She does not impress her beliefs on those she interviews. Was always amazed; knowing her 'Democrat' roots; how she handled Republicans - not like Dianne Sawyer; not like Paula Zahn (her 'trade' so to speak); not like anyone else at CNN or any Democrat really; as they all cannot help but be asshats.

That said; really don't care what are her politics; Greta honest enough; and smart enough; to know whom to vote for. And we know she is not fooled by the differences, that separate the sheep, from the goats. . .

(Not just Sarah and Michelle; her time with Laura Bush; always 'well spent' and viewer is the winner. Unlike her counterparts; she treated Laura with the respect she deserves and for that matter; same with a Barbara Bush, et al. Sad that should 'distinguish' Greta; but thanks to rude and ugly Demrats; it just does.)

I watch Greta quite often and I do get a glimmer of hope on the occasions I see her hitting a guest with tough questions. On the other hand, I tend to cringe when I see her have a guest like Lindsey Graham and she’d just yuking it up with him or giving him a pass instead of pounding those RINOs like him, Romney, McCain or Judd Gregg. I then check out Gretawire online during the show and see it is a moderate to left leaning bunch. I come across like a right wing extremist compared to those guys as they seem cool with RINOs and they don’t like it when I call out Greta for not grilling her RINO guests the way a Mark Levin would.
