John Boehner Must Go

What I’m hearing all over the news is that the “leaders” of the Democrat Party are claiming victory and the Republican Party “leaders” are claiming victory in last week’s short term budget battle.

The fact is that they are both right. They both won. The only losers in this deal are the American people and the Republic for which we stand.

In the short run it was a great achievement for ambitious politicians who fantasize about their place in history. In the long run it will not matter what they did because the way things are going, someone else, Communist China most likely, will be writing the history books; so posterity will scarcely know who they were.

I hear some of the posers on the right as they attempt to put some lipstick on this pig but the more I ruminate on the matter, the more disgusted I become.

I’m tired of being... (continued)

Okay, our only hope is to elect a Republican President and a Republican majority in the Senate. Do you really think that it will resolve the problem? These folks are politicians and they will continue to fight the effort to reduce the budget when it effects their constituents.

The future continues to look bleak regardless of what happens in the 1012 election. That is both a constant and a promise. We are doomed either way it seems...

The problem is that this Congress (Senate - President) do NOT understand that we are in dire straits...

--------------------------

Spot on Deagle!

And a lot of RINOs.

Paul Ryan wants to cut $6 trillion over the next 10 years. If it took several months to agree to a mere $39 billion, (less than 1% of the budget), how long will it take to get agreement on $6 trillion?

Massive federal spending is important to Democrats because it buys them power by funneling tax dollars into the pockets of their union backers, and by creating a culture of dependency that serves only to build their voter base. These lib parasite groups are panicked about being thrown off the gravy train.

Get ready folks, this fight has just begun, and it will certainly become more interesting in the next few months. Be prepared for outlandish claims of the evil intentions of Republicans, and for violence and a complete disregard for the rule of law when the left does not get its way.

CowboyREID2sm

''The mean-spirited bill, H.R. 1, eliminates National Public Broadcasting," said Reid in a floor speech. "It eliminates the National Endowment of the Humanities, National Endowment of the Arts. These programs create jobs. The National Endowment of the Humanities is the reason we have in northern Nevada every January a cowboy poetry festival. Had that program not been around, the tens of thousands of people who come there every year would not exist.''

The federal budget for 2011 calls for spending of $3.819 trillion and a deficit of $1.645 trillion. Both numbers are the largest in U.S. history.

I have little hope for the future! Heck, they could cut almost everything and still be running a deficit - what do you do then?

Gloomy is a good outlook...

“He has done a decent job so far against 2/3rds of the government.”

You call being a doormat to the liberals a “decent job”?

“Actually, the only hope for the country is for the election of Senators and a President that cares

It’s not even a matter of “caring” when it comes to the Saboteur we have as President. He cares - aabout destroying this country from within. He’s a very effective President. He’s effective at Sabotage.

It is time to fulfill Col. Allen West’s request to Pelosi - and Mr. Boehner, “Give me that Daned gavel”.

It’s TIME.

You’re way to depressive(?) here... He made a decent deal with what he had and still has much to go.. You are being way to pessimistic with the outcome. I don’t like the deal either, but considering the alternatives, he did very good.

You can’t continue to expect the best when we only control the Congress - Senate and Presidency not ours.. You should be thanking your lucky stars that we were able to at least stem the outrageous spending of the Democrats...

More to come...

We have already lost the fight against raising the debt ceiling. We just approved a budget that increases the debt in excess of the current ceiling. How can we now argue that the ceiling should not be raised?

2012....give him some more conservatives to work with, and then I will judge him...we have been reading this stuff on here forever.

We couldn't beat Reid. Wisconsin and Ohio are looking better, Illinois is going to the other extreme..let's make our case and see what happens...might even elect a different speaker...

He did a lousy job. Horrible. He didn’t even negotiate much less talk about anything of significance. A measly 12 hours of federal spending? A mere 0.137% of the total budget? He held this nation’s spending at bay for that???

He caved and caved big. All it took was Obama threatening to veto something and Bonehead caved. When Bush would say he might veto something the Democrats rammed it down his throat. They called his bluff and got their way.

When Obama claimed the military wouldn’t get funding I’d have passed the military appropriations bill, jammed it into Obama’s face and publicly dared him to veto it. He might have, for about half a day, until the public turned on him. Bonehead didn’t have the guts. He is a DC polidiot and entrenched in the swill.

Not sure that is true! Might be, but I will have to wait for Congress to act. Actually, I hope that they vote NO on raising the limit and continue with decreases in spending to allow for that... is that a dream? No, that will NOT cause a default of our debt!

Oh well, if it does pass, I hope that Republicans fight the increases eery step.... Yeah, I know, that is a pipe dream.

Yes, he did have problems... not getting the military out of the problem was definitely key.

As to other problems, I say he did well for the problems that he faced. That is okay that you disagree - many Democrats also disagree (sorry, not trying to mix you with them)... just that many will and do disagree...

I can only say that I think that he did a good job within the parameters that he had to work. That is of course the problem as seen by the media...

He did the best political job that he could do under the circumstances (says he - I wanted better)...
