Last November, MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell proudly declared himself a socialist on national television.
On Wednesday, "The Last Word" host took this a huge step further saying the whole idea that Americans are rugged individualists is an illusion because they're all really socialists (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Most Americans are too busy working to know or care about what this socialist thing may be.
The ones living off the system generally paid in, or are to stupid to care.
Lawrence O’Donnell is probably worth over $100 million from his West Wing residuals.

He needs to leave the liberal cloister, get out in flyover country and meet real people who actually perform some useful work for a living.

Unfortunately, O’Donnell is more correct than we would like to admit. Look at how Americans welcomed the New Deal and Great Society socialistic takeovers from government. Almost without substantial debate. And despite their socialistic nature, Republicans won’t even challenge them to this day.
He is correct when speaking of urban detritus, trash and filth washed and deposited in American cities.

You are being nice. Socialists live to destroy our Republic and transform it into a hellhole. If they succeed and collapse our Republic, then I pray that they receive true justice, without any mercy. Absolutely no mercy.
Make no mistake, they are out to destroy our Country as it exists; they are the enemy of Freedom. We are fighting a slow motion war -- they are just not man enough to fight outright. Their violence is through increased taxes, regulations, and relentless verbal assault on our way our life.
They are truly the enemy within. I pray enough Americans wake up before we reach the point of no return.
