In 2008, Sarah Palin excited conservatives nationwide as she burst onto the scene as McCain's vice presidential candidate, but with 2012 around the corner, Palin supporters now have their eyes set on a different goalthe presidency. Grassroots movements are popping up everywhere to give Palin their full support and one of those groups is Youth for Palin. Its important for a candidate to capture the attention of youth and although Youth for Palin is not directly affiliated with a Palin campaign, it's apparent members are preparing for an announcement by the former Governor.
Formed in March of 2011, Rollan Ross realized his dream of bringing youths together with one voice and he visualizes an ever-increasing group of young conservatives who will not only speak up, but be heard.
I had the fortunate opportunity to interview Elizabeth Hawkes, co-founder and administrator of "Youth for Palin, where I was able to learn more about the group, its focus and goals.
Why did you create Youth for Palin? "Youth for Palin", a grassroots movement of conscientious young people, is gaining strength as a conservative force and powerful voting block. At the center of this youth movement is their political idol, Sarah Palin, a constitutional conservative, with values and ideals that reflect their own.Though not directly affiliated with her campaign, "Youth for Palin" members, having given their full support, are a ready army of young and loyal followers awaiting marching orders when Sarah Palin announces her nomination for President.

They give me hope for our future. God bless and watch over them.
There will be some of us older folks ready for the announcement also. WooHoo!
Don’t a lot of the yutes support that Libertarian Ron Paul? I know he seems to have a contingent at events, etc.
Dear Onyx, do you know if Sarah’s appearance at the Madison TEA Party Rally will be on C-Span live (or tape delayed)?
I am only half an hour from the event, however, I run a greenhouse and it’s not possible for me to be away at the busiest time of my year.
I’d love to be able to catch Sarah’s part of the rally on TV. If I’d go to the event I’d be gone for hours (parking, dirty hippies in my way, driving both ways, smelly hippies...).
I hope someone will say YES! Sarah will be on C-Span!
And heck, can’t she be this close to my home in the months when I am not busy? (sad I will miss it).
We will have a stormy Saturday (started already with the wind, and rain to follow), but our Sarah is tough and will not be deterred by weather. She will revel in it! After all it’s not 20 below zero or anything, just cold, wind and rain.
It might clear up by noon on Saturday and I hope that just as Sarah begins to speak,,,The Good Lord will send a beam of sunshine and put it right on her.
Great news! We need young people involved on our side.
(Poor writing in this piece, though.)
only the nutty ones. Many of the Liberaltarians I know are just liberals who want lower taxes.
