Awesome….Trump Supports Taking Private Property Of Citizens

Why oh why are Conservatives getting hoodwinked by this fraud?

CAVUTO: You know, the one thing that sticks in the craw of a lot of people with this court, Donald — and I don’t know where you come down on it, but this eminent domain issue that essentially allowed someone’s home to be bulldozed, as was the case in New London, Connecticut, if it gets in the way of developers. Now, you’re a pretty successful developer in your own right. What did you think of that decision? Was the court overdoing it with that decision?

TRUMP: Well, it’s sort of not a good one for me to say, because I noticed every article written about it said, “Will Donald Trump take over your home?” sort of using me as the example, Neil. And it’s sort of — it’s an interesting situation to be in. But I happen to agree with it 100 percent, not that I would want to use it. But the fact is, if you have a person living in an area that’s not even necessarily a good area, and government, whether it’s local or whatever, government wants to build a tremendous economic development, where a lot of people are going to be put to work and make area that’s not good into a good area, and move the person that’s living there into a better place — now, I know it might not be their choice — but move the person to a better place and yet create thousands upon thousands of jobs and beautification and lots of other things, I think it happens to be good. (Fox News, 7/19/05)

Check out the link above to read about the times he has actually tried to use eminent domain to evict people, for his business interests of course.

How does he answer this? Well, because it was a 10 years ago and back then all conservatives backed using eminent domain to seize private property, as well as socialized health care.

I s**t you not:

Well I guess we know a little more about the Trump.

Not like I’d vote for him anyway. It’s not enough to vote for someone just because they are against Obama (but was once for him) if they have equally kooky and unconstitutional ideas.

You’re just swapping one crazy for another. Better to vote for another person entirely.

And, Trump is trying to build a golf course resort in Scotland which runs through a Scotsman’s private property. Last I heard, the man and his neighbors have a law suit against him. Not dur if its still pending.
Way to make friends, Donald.

something to think about - if he wins - all his business goes into trust - he cant manage it - he’s not about to give that up, so whats the real point of his antics? - split the repub vote or destroy Obamas re-election? - you decide

yup. I think Trump is merely doing a public exercise of ego
in challenging Obama for celebrity-status. Trump puts his name in kitschy 8 foot high gold letters on gargantuan buildings, and Obama still has designs on doing the same thing to America.

Trump is a commie. If the GOP lets him run on their ticket what will that say?

Do you cancel the bridge to save the shack?

What does that have to do with what Trump said?

You think you know Trump because you watch a show he runs, read a book or two of his? That's patently ridiculous and in spades!

Don't watch TV, don't buy or read stupid books by Limbo, Coulter or other Conservative radio and TV "heroes". Didn't even know that Trump published books (written, like those by Limbo, Ivana and other semi-literates, by ghostwriters, no doubt.) I've landed from Mars, you might say, just as I had landed from Mars when Ronald Reagan came on the scene and I knew nothing about his past associations with Hollywood communists. I say, let the Donald soap opera run its course.

It has nothing to do with Trump.
I am talking about the law.
Using the law for the betterment of ALL society
can be OK, but I can see where it can be grossly
misused to benefit only politicians and their rich pals.

You besmirch the very name REAGAN, by comparing him to Trump!

Are you familiar with SMOOT-HAWLEY ? What Trump has proposed is far worse.

Glad to see that the hatred for Trump is as strong as the hatred for Obambi. Circular firing squad take your places. And don’t you ever dare to mention Saint Ronald and his governorship of California.

All of this stuff proving that Trump is a creep, a statist, a liberal, etc., is irrelevant.

He is demonstrating that Obama’s Ineligibility is a winning issue.

That’s all that matters right now. That’s all that matters about Trump.

A bridge is one thing. THAT is a public use item. That is legitimate Eminent Domain use. But a development? For companies? To improve a tax base? Not even close.

Unfortunately so does the Supreme Court, and Obama would do worse given a chance.

Donald Trump is NOT the "GREAT WHITE 'CONSERVATIVE' HOPE"; not by a long shot

So Can't we just enjoy watching The Donald make The Zero squirm with birth certificate talk?

If it were only that, yews; however, many are apparently far too ready to swallow the purple KOOL-Aid and vote for him him the primaries, should he throw his hat into the ring. Just read the posts here..........................many are patently ridiculous, naive, and slobbering.

Yes, people fall for wannabe/probable candidates who have no chance and/or should never be considered, but the Trumpettes goes beyond that.
