It has come to my attention that there are still a few people in the world that I have not offended. I'd like to fix that by endorsing Donald Trump for president. But not for the reasons you might think.
This morning I read a news item saying that some folks at NBC think Trump might be pretending to run for president to boost ratings. The story noted that ratings for his TV show are up 20% lately. I laughed out loud because sometimes I forget that at least half the country doesn't realize he's just screwing with the media.
The magnificent part of this whole thing is that he's putting no effort whatsoever into concealing his prank. That's what I love about the guy. He knows that no level of clownery in a field of clowns will single him out as the one clown that doesn't really mean it.
Take Trump's recent empathy with the so-called birthers. That's the most brilliant part of his plan. It's a dead giveaway that he's just screwing with the media, and it has the added benefit of concentrating most of their attention on that one trivial issue. He doesn't even need to study up on the other issues. While Romney is writing position papers, Trump is golfing.
If you are not a student of practical jokes, you might not know they have a specific formula. A proper practical joke is more than a surprise or a lie. The magic part of the prank formula involves leaving enormous clues that are obvious to everyone but the target of the prank.

If you are sitting on top of the world with billions of dollars, an enomous company and a top rated TV show, you only have one way to go for more power - president of the United States of America. I think his ego dictates that this is the ultimate goal and he will get there if possible.
The country is definitely ready for someone like the Trumpster.
Trump is a Populist. He has nailed the sentiment of the General Public and his Populist rhetoric is resonating across the land.

I doubt it. He will stay in, lose the Republican Primary and run as an independent. He will lose to Obama or a Republican. He doesn’t care jack about Obama or anything except the Donald. He doesn’t even care if he loses the election.
I’m not that cynical. I believe Trump truly cares about his country. He has learned a good lesson on what Liberalism does to a Capitalist society. He has been burned and learned the hard way.
I predict that eventually someone with a some small bit of conscience left within the Donalds inner circle will come out and tell the truth about the Donald. Or maybe he/she will do it for the money.

In trying to portray Trump as some kind of genius, the author fails to understand the real meaning of intelligence.
Intelligence is no more than the pursuit of truth and the ability to discern it. So the ability to discern truth is not equivalent with the ability to fool others.
In fact, the ability to fool others—known as the pursuit of falsehood—is the opposite of intelligence. Observe the typical leftist.
On top of this, this Trump-trickery theory only reminds us that Trump and anyone allied with him cannot be trusted.
And another thing. The question of whether or not Obama was born in the United States is in no way a test of intelligence.
Another strange Election season to be sure. It’s anybodies guess what will happen.
It would be lots of fun if the survival of the country didn’t ride on getting rid of the Kenyan.

Trump can whip Obama. If you have someone better let me know. Your chihuahua Romney will go down in flames. I have nothing against Mormons but it seems millions of American Christians simply will not vote for one. And Sarah Palin ain’t running.
If Trump can pull way the mask from Obama he will do a service for the nation. He, like Perot, has some good ideas and a whole lot of common sense. I want to hear what he has to say in the primary. Let him compete in the arena of ideas—and not speculate. I believe if he can force the Birth Certificate out in the open, and expose Obama/Soros connection, it will be a great day in America.

Heads or tails, Trump wins. First, the publicity. Second, government favor. If he helps Republicans win, he has Republicans in his pocket. If it looks like Obama is going to win, he pulls some Obama document out of his ear and says, “Never mind.”
I wasn’t sure if Trump was serious about running or just screwing around until yesterday when Krauthammer said Trump called him up. Why would Donald even bother to try to court Kraut if he wasn’t serious? I’m thinking now that Trump may really throw his hat in the ring. It will certainly be interesting if he does.
