Despite being new here, you might have noticed that we're in the middle of a Freep-A-Thon. That's a fund raiser, so that FreeRepublic will remain free of ads, cookies, trackers, beacons and the like.. You know - stuff like the 26 cookies you dropped on my computer when I clicked on your site.
