Charlie Manson, Environmentalist

On the fortieth anniversary of the gruesome murders of pregnant actress Sharon Tate and seven other victims, mass murderer Charles Manson granted an interview. Charlie was convicted and sentenced to death for these murders, though he boasted of many more. But after one of several court decisions ruling the death penalty unconstitutional, Charlie was resentenced to life imprisonment. He continues to reside as a guest of the State of California, as do other members of his “family.”

Manson rambled on about global warming, protecting nature, and various topics including theology. Typically, the college-educated are more likely to substitute environmentalism for religion. But even in Charlie’s uneducated, twisted brain, environmentalism takes on religious trappings. The melting of the polar ice caps is a notion especially upsetting to him. Perhaps Manson is frightened of a warmer climate in this world because he expects a much warmer climate in the next world, and he wants to enjoy what comfort he can while he can.

We can question the validity of human-caused global warming. We can read “The Great Global Warming Blunder: How Mother Nature Fooled the World’s Top Climate Scientists” by Roy Spencer, a top climate scientist himself. We can come to realize that scientists, no less than other people, are subject to fads and peer pressure, as well as being motivated by advancing an agenda rather than by searching for the truth. We can note with sadness that “climategate” has become a standard English word.

But surely the concept of human-caused global warming has regained some of its lost credibility, now that an authority with the status of Charlie Manson has granted it his blessing.

I find it extremely disgusting that they gave him an interview. He should have been executed years ago.

Well if Manson says global warming is true and man made it must be...

I’m sure he has access to the best data and research available in his cell. California taxpayers are probably subsidizing the Charles Manson climate lab at San Quentin as we speak. To do otherwise would be cruel and unusual punishment, dontcha know.

This is kind of jerk that needs his skin stripped off with a disc sander, doused in gasonline, and lit on fire while a public crowd points and laughs.

I can’t stand murderous left-wing psychopaths that think they can push their little world order down on the rest of us. Medieval torture and death should be their lot.

That’s he’s trying to rehabilitate himself in some way just pisses me off more.
