Has Dick Morris ever been right? Sigh, even when he reads me?

IF those are the choices then it’s settled.

Bachmann/Palin or Palin/Bachmann.

Just like we said months ago.

Thanks Dick.

You need to listen to Rush... Rush broke it down yesterday... you know the media lies for obama... no dispute at all about that... and they are lying in all of these polls... including rasmussen. It is bad for barry and Rush said what I have BEEN saying... there is nothing being done to turn this economy around and even if something were done drastically that would help... it would be beyond the next election before we would see any real change... Rush said Elmer Fudd could beat obama in 2012... and Rush is right... 98.7% of the time and this time he is dead on. We need to elect the BEST CONSERVATIVE LEADER PERIOD... no other qualifications need be explored.

He had the goods and juicy stories on the Clintons. That’s about as far as it goes. He’s got good insights, but he’s rarely right on most things.

Ugh, so sorry to read this—as it about assures that it’s Romney.

My grandmother told me this when I was knee-high to a grasshopper and it still holds true today:

Believe almost nothing of what you read.

Michelle Bachmann: "What a refreshing candidate- intelligent, savvy... a tax lawyer... the only one who had the guts to vote against that phony deal that Boehner put down with Reed and Obama... a charismatic candidate."

A true conservative, indeed, the most sound candidate out there. I doubt she has the gravitas to prevail. She is actually running for vice president.

Mike Huckabee:"I think Huckabee has a tremendous capacity to win, because he's really had the most exposure. He's shown himself to be a very likable, charismatic, warm, values-oriented person who's incredibly knowledgeable..."

Fiscally unsound and unworthy of the support of evangelicals. One hopes he does not run because he is likely to play the spoiler as he did last time but this time in behalf of Trump.

Newt Gingrich: "...if we could ever get Newt Gingrich as the Republican nominee against Obama in a debate- everybody would pay to buy tickets to that"

"You have the intellectual thinker... but everyone's concerned about his negatives... he's got a year."

Far and away the candidate with the most candle power, the best debating skills, the best forensic skills, and a legitimate fiscal conservative record about which to boast. He has the baggage but all our candidates have a weakness. As of now, he is the best choice of all the demonstrably conservative candidates who can get elected.

Mitt Romney: "He's the only one I'm actually opposed to, because of his position on health care- and I think what he did in Massachusetts pretty much disqualifies him."

"I think he was proud of the bill (RomneyCare) until a year ago."

Not a true conservative.

Sarah Palin: I think Palin can't get in if Huckabee runs and/or Bachmann runs... both have a superior claim in Palin's base."

"I think Palin's great... but she has so much baggage that's been piled on her by a sexist, outrageous liberal media..."

The woman is a dream conservative but she has for some reason declined to do the one thing necessary for election: learn how to project gravitas. As Kennedy once said, "first you got to get elected..."

Not by the process of first choice, but by the process of elimination, Newt Gingrich as of now is the logical choice.

I'm with you. I made calls for Bachmann last summer and I would work for her campaign again if she decides to run.

I think he's right about Palin and Romney. They're both damaged goods. Palin through no fault of her own really, but like Rush says, I live in realville and the reality is she's been beat up too much for too long and her negatives are too high.

Any article acting like Gingrich is even a remote possibility is silly.

That is what we said about McCain. Face it, FR is an echo-chamber of sound rational thinking. The world, OTOH...

I'm going to say Trump and Huck...and I would have no trouble with that. The USA is a business and it needs some new kind of tempering.

Right now, it's all about jobs but businessmen are waiting to see what the hell Obama is going to do.

Right now, Obama is killing jobs...Spending money in foreign countries that belongs here...Brazil, Libya

I was listening to Charlie Krauthammer pontificating on the Donald last night on O’Reilly’s show. It’s clear that Krauthammer detests the idea of a president Trump...which honestly, is enough for me to love the idea. The people are so mad at government right now that they’ll get behind whoever picks up Pat Buchanan’s dusty standard.

Anyone willing to take a sledgehammer to the Dems, the Boehner Pubbies, and the DC bureaucracy?

Trump sounds like someone who would. Michelle Bachmann probably would, but there’s too much “minnesota nice” about her. I don’t think it reflects the current mood of the electorate.

So Donald Trump - if you’re the candidate who is going to go to DC and burn the whole stinking thing down - you have my support.

(Huckabee, Romney, Pawlenty, Barbour, Gingrich, and Daniels are clearly NOT that candidate).
