An undercurrent here, I think, is that those who were vehemently anti-"birther" were disappointed when what was released was yet another bureaucratic bookkeeping document rather than the birth certificates we're all used to, with baby footprints, hospital logo, etc.

I think even those who are not "birthers" assumed that was what they were going to see when they heard the announcement.

My Tennessee birth certificate has no hospital logo, much less footprints, but it is the original hospital issued
certificate.
The only BC with footprints I have ever seen was the
Lucas Smith purported Kenyan BC.
I am not saying, however that some hospitals do not do this.
