Sharia law is a system of legal and illegality based solely on the Koran and Islamic teachings. In the United States, it has been widely panned because of its disrespect towards women, amongst other things. Likewise, Sharia law could not be implemented in the United States because it would violate the belief in a separation of Church (or in this case, Mosque) and State.
Despite this, however, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri Richard Callahan assured Missouri Muslims yesterday that the Obama Administration would likely step in on behalf of Sharia law should any state try to ban it. Discussing the Missouri State Legislature's attempt to limit Sharia law, Callahan stated:
"The Department of Justice has a good history of challenging laws passed by state legislatures. If some laws are passed, I think you will see challenges by the federal government on the constitutionality of them."
In other words, if Missouri passes a law (which, of course, state have the sovereignty to do), the Administration or higher-ups in it would challenge it. They'll challenge it even though the law would be Constitutional and the thing they are limiting is unconstitutional. That is our government at work.

The muslim infestation is God’s final warning. Islam is satanic and its followers are, whether knowingly or not, following Satan. They are picking off God’s people one by one as we embrace inclusiveness and universalism and the idea that all religions are equal and valid. Our overdeveloped sense of tolerance demands that we base our version of Christianity on “Judge not, that ye be not judged” and ignore the parts about “No one comes to the Father except through me.” When faced with the words right there on the page in red, we are expected to add a caveat that we don’t know what that means for those who are not Christian.
God will save us in the end if we stick with Him, but the road is not going to be easy.
Good summary - I think you nailed it. I think recognition of multiple wives for immigration privileges and welfare handouts is also a factor.

Imposing sharia law on the States is an establishment of religion. It’s unconstitutional. If there is a civil war in this country, I think it will be over things like this. That is, the federal government ignoring its own laws for political purposes.
Precisely, lets fragment America further. Lets bring out the anti sharia redneck’s law!
Unfortunately, we have an Administration that acts like a leftist dictatorship.
All non-citizen Muslims should have been deported starting on 9/12/01. When we get full control back, it should be the first action, along with surveillance of all citizen Muslims. Sharia should be forbidden in any case where it conflicts with the U.S. Constitution or federal, state or local law. < /rant >
