“Some of you guys need some serious schooling on the nature of cause and effect. Oh, and on the US Constitution.”

Oh so that’s why leftwing socialist Europeans and liberal Californians embrace the “US Constitution.”

First, of all this is an international issue.

Second of all, and in any case, where in the US Constitution does it say taxpayers must fund potheads addicted to welfare?

Third of all, are you aware how much of a tax burden drug addicts are? Give them a moral lesson, not some good cop who is keeping scum off our roads.

Hey, guess what. We in the United States of America are quite content to let other countries handle their issues as they see fit. In our country, however, we have a set of fixed laws and a Constitution which limits the power of our federal government. I know a lot of foreigners don't understand that concept and think that it is just fine and dandy for their big government to ask its subjects to bend over for every whim and fancy that crosses their bureaucratic minds, but Americans, the real ones, don't take kindly to a bunch of know-nothing politicians telling them how to run their own lives. So, I'll be damned if I care that you think this is an "international issue" that entitles every ignorant yahoo in the world to dictate domestic policy to the US. Ruin your own country, bub.

Quite frankly, you reflect poorly on Australia.
