Newt Gingrich, carrying heavy baggage from multiple marriages and RINO stances, is now trying to rewrite history.
Lambasted over an ad against "climate change," in which he sat on a couch with Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, Gingrich is trying to clarify the meaning of the ad. Gingrich-spokesman Rick Tyler sent an email out to that effect (emphasis mine):
"Newt does not apologize for trying to persuade his ideological opponents that his conservative solutions are the best solutions. His attempt to work with Speaker Pelosi is another testament to Gingrich's willingness to debate his conservative solutions with liberals, in this case Pelosi. As it turned out, Pelosi ... and Gingrich still disagree about how to best protect the environment. But Gingrich will never shy away from debating those on the left on issues like the environment, education and healthcare that they think they own."
You know, I could have sworn that the ad that Gingrich appeared in stated that he agreed with Pelosi. Probably because that's exactly what the ad said...

Pelosi- Hi! I'm Nancy Pelosi, life-long Democrat and Speaker of the House.
Gingrich- And I'm Newt Gingrich, life-long Republican and I used to be Speaker of the House.
Pelosi- We don't always see eye to eye, do we Newt?
Gingrich- No, but we do agree: our country must take action to address climate change.

A RINO lying? Imagine that?
I’m no Newt hater but I’m going to have to call BS on this one. The commercial was a series of spots done by different people with “opposing” views, but who support the scam now known as global warming.
The spots were done for Algore. So much for bipartisan.

T-Paw also has drunk some of the AlGore Kool-Aid, but to my knowledge he’s backed away embarrassedly — and not LIED about it.
I don’t want him to apologize. In fact I don’t want him to do anything except maybe retire and enjoy the rest of his life quietly.
My neck is sore from the spinning on this one....
We all start debates with, “I totally agree with your position.” Yup, good starting point for a debate...if you’re your own opponent.

Who are we going to believe? Gingrich’s spokesmouth or our lying ears/eyes?

No thanks Newt. Climate change is NOT something we need to address. Climate change is a natural phenomenon and not something we need to particularly concern ourselves with. AGW (Global Warming) is bunk. Environmentalism is simply socialism with a smile and Newt looks like a fool perched on a couch with that idiot Pelosi.

These politicians say they’re conservative, but then they betray those core principles.
Romney has done it on several issues, he didn’t apologize, Bush did it every time he clucked about being a “compassionate conservative”.
These clowns crossed a line they shouldn’t have and they’re proud about their betrayal of conservatives.
Newt was great in the 90s and I'll never forget the leadership exhibited to take the house after nearly 50 years of Democrat rule.
But, today, to get me to vote for Newt would require Jim Robinson to drive to my house and personally ask me to vote for Mr Gingrich. Actually, he'd have to beg me.
So you see Newt, nothing's short of impossible. Global warming. Phtaaa!

I sincerely wonder if Newt understands loyalty. He must suffer from abandonment issues associated with his youth.
