I have never seen too many dogs that can sneak up on a cat without alerting them, but this dog did it.

Video Ping!
I am pinging OV's list for a video posted from his sight I have been given the keys to the car to drive whenever he is absent for more than a few days, and I must admit I dropped the ball and did not keep things posted as I promised.
In my defense I have been getting a lot of spring cleaning done on my honey do list, and have not even turned on my laptop in almost 2 weeks. So I had no idea his sight was silent until yesterday. As for where he is, or what he is up to I have no clue. I am sure that if anything was wrong he would have given me or someone else on his list a heads up. If someone knows something, maybe you can share it with the rest of us.
For now I'll post a video or two for him, and this is the first. A Ninja Dog sneaks up on a cat. It really is a neat video. No one gets hurt, just a bit embarrassed is all.

“Post pregnancy hormones”.
Dang, after my first baby... I would have tried to sneak up on a cat, too. Of course, I was have been crying the entire time! LOL

I watched the ninja cat video as well.
Creepy. The cat never changed it’s “pose” and was always absolutely still when the camera was on it, but it was always closer every time you looked at it.

Pauli (golden) actually gets lizards if I’m not careful ( don’t like her to kill them). She stalks and then rushes. She’s quite good. Don’t know what she’d do about a cat, my friend (where she has lived part of her life) has cats so she may not see them as valid prey. I do know that when she noticed the squirrels recently she sure seemed quite ready to do the lizard technique on them.

I have heard that a dog can get poisoned from eating too many lizards.

Typical stalking behavior by a predator. The cat is very lucky the dog really didn't want to kill it or was un skilled in killing small critters.
The lab I had as a kid would have killed that cat in the first bite.

looks like the cat won lol :)
