In an interview with CNBCs Jane Wells, rock n roll singer Gene Simmons slammed President Barack Obama on his proposal to weaken Israel in support of the Hamas-Fatah alliance.
How about you live there and try to defend an indefensible border?
He has no f**king idea what the world is like.

“He has no f**king idea what the world is like.
Gene summed up Barry’s view of the world nicely.
Another racist heard from. Yawn.
Know what ? When this moron wakes up, and says he'll vote against Obama, then I'll take him seriously, until then, he should STFU.
Voted for an idea, what an ass.....
I can only say that obama is no Christian.
I love it. I just plain do. But, Obama does know what the world is like. He doesn’t care what happens to Israel and that’s the plain truth.
Simmons had no f**king idea what Obama is like. The idiot voted for him.
On the other hand he does a lot of singing for our troops both here and abroad. I will give him that.
You could have done so and still rock and rolled to a rich man's delight, but you chose to do nothing while you had the means to do.
Thanks for nothing.
Exactly, I saw the video and thought the same. Simmons is a fool for voting for him. I am sure by 2012 Simmons and other leftists that are now complaining will rationalize some way to vote for the Marxist again. Disgusting.
Obama does know what the world is like, he’s just on the wrong side.
He’s a Conservative, he just doesn’t know it. Loved the kill the intruder part.
Pray for America
Wow. The only thing that I do not like about Gene is his over-the-top self promotion. Yes, God help me I even like the music.
We all have our weaknesses.
But... but... obama has a Nobel peace price. He knows what is good for us.
A vile pig like Simmons proves he is just like a b roken clock.
Simmons is the antithesis of moral b ehavior.
heard that too...LOL
waiting for your direct link for the same video I posted last night
Obama wants Israel dead.
From the Right Scoop: 12/2010
Gene Simmons is honest enough to admit that part of the reason he voted for Obama was that it was historic, that he wanted to show the world that our ugly past of slavery and racism is, well, in the past and that weve got no problems electing a black man to run the greatest country in the world. And I think if others were honest, they would admit the same.
However, he has since come to his senses and now admits that he regrets it, which I respect:
I’m continually amazed at the stupidity of the population. It’s breathtaking
“Those with the most to lose, did the least to prevent it”
You nailed it.
(Video) Gene Simmons Military Tribute. This is soooo cool!
I left off attribution but President Reagan said it. The precise quote:
“Those with the most to lose, did the least to prevent its happening.”
I shoudda known, who else was better at winning near bloodless victories? Or winning the peace?
Character is where strength counts most.
Unfortunately for our country masses of people wanted to get on that bandwagon. No thought about how the zero guy would run and ruin America, and that Zero had absolutely no administrative experience, and had a Marxist/socialist agenda. People who bought into the "racist" guilt just wanted to "feel good" about riding themselves of being uncomfortable for something that they never should have felt bad about anyway.
I bet the majority of blacks here never had ancestors who were slaves. Blacks in droves have been coming here for almost a century voluntarily from Africa and various islands, and they nor their children ever had to suffer slavery. The debt was paid to the slaves when white soldiers fought and died in the Civil War.
For crying out loud, how long do white Americans have to pay for a handful of slave owners who used them wrongly? It is not as though the whole country had slaves. I am sick of this tired, old complaint that has blossomed into creating a standard of "entitlement" among people who are now much better off than any of their relatives in Africa where suffering is the norm and far worse than slavery ever was in America.
Well, I am surprised that people are surprised, but on the other hand, the only other choice was John McCain....not exactly an inspiring alternative for those in the mushy middle.
Sadly I think we are on the road to the same kind of election....not that any of the GOPers are going to do anything worthwhile anyway. None of them will roll back the massive expansion of government since 2001.
“Im continually amazed at the stupidity of the population. Its breathtaking”
Stupidity and greed. They want the gubmint to take care of them.
You’re the first person that has written my thoughts down regarding the slave issue in such an exact way.
I’ve done little research on the subject but for years I always felt that there were only “a handful” of slave owners. The way the issue is presented though you would think every white man in the country owned slaves; which is ridiculous. Another part of the slave issue that rarely gets mentioned is the fact that their own people in Africa rounded them up and sold them. I really wish I could find a FACT based account on slavery with actual numbers and statistics.
As far as the dimwits that voted because of ‘guilt’ that thought process never even occurred to me what so ever. It’s a foreign concept to me and not in my wildest dreams did I think people voted that way; but I’ve heard and read so many accounts of it that it must be true. Even my DIL told me just last week that friends of theirs that were in college at the time, said that is why they voted for the marxist. BTW those kids were homeschooled and conservative.
So why don’t you say whats really on your mind, Gene?
Of course he does. It's made of limousines and jet planes and ice cream cones and rock concerts and buffalo burgers and, well, you get the picture. Obama's world is a land of sunshine and lollipops.
I can’t believe Gene Simmons voted for Obama! You had to be blind and living in your own little world, Gene, not to have seen he’s a Marxist! I’m so sick of RINO’s!
Our problems in America are not so much because of slavery as they are because of how blacks were treated after slavery was abolished. And that treatment was not limited to the southerners...the Yankees are just as much to blame in their discriminations when the slaves fled and relocated in northern towns and cities where they could not find jobs or be accepted into society.
I am against discrimination of any sort, and will fight it... but I refuse to feel guilty about the early slavery practices of a small percent of plantation owners over a hundred years ago. There were far more and still are more black slave owners than white Americans.
Sorry that I hijacked the thread and went on to talk about slavery in America.
However, on the thread topic all I can say is that Obama now has Gene's KISS of death and I hope that is true for the other entertainers and supporters of the idiot in the White House
Gene wakes up.
Maybe he’ll influence some of his fans to vote against Obama.
That’s a good thing, right?
Thank you so much for providing that resource. I can’t seem to establish any credentials for the author though. The name is listed in Wikipedia but this particular work is not listed (interesting). It is the same person because other works cross reference between his website and Wikipedia (not the greatest source but the only one I found outside of his). Nevertheless I will read this with great interest.
It’s interesting that you point out the ‘treatment’ of blacks after slavery as being a reason for the current tensions. I haven’t heard that viewpoint before and anytime a black is spewing victim-hatred, they continually point to slavery.
I have never felt guilt. Ever. First of all, the obvious reason is that we (as in the generations following the civil war) did not participate in the deplorable practice of slavery and as you pointed out, very few blacks (no matter what they say) can actually lay claim to a relative that was a slave. Secondly, the blacks have had more opportunity to rise above the past, than anyone. And yet, they are still a race that refuses (overall) to take advantage of those opportunities.
Discrimination on the other hand has been practiced. But, the practice is to ‘blame ALL white people’ which is a lie from hell. I have never discriminated...never.; so I resent the implication deeply. The ironic thing is, that by screaming discrimination and hearing it for so many years, it’s now cultivating discrimination in my thinking. I resent the hell out of the accusations and despise the fact that I’ve been lumped in with a small group of idiot whites so now, when I see a black...my first thoughts are now about the claims they continue to make and a slow boil begins.
Since you apologized...well I guess I’m sorry as well. But isn’t it all (race, voting etc) connected? And shouldn’t we find out where it was that it connected? Anyway, I apologize for focusing on the slavery issue.
I love Gene, he’s a mensch. The only fault I found was that he said he thinks BHO means well and that he’s a “good guy”.
I already knew he voted for Hopey-Changey, but at least GS now sees O’s a schmuck.
“Obama wants Israel dead.”
If Gene ever realizes that - he’s extremely smart so maybe he’ll start seeing a pattern here if he takes time to observe - that’d be the deal-breaker for him. His mother (whom he treasures) is a concentration camp survivor. He wept at the Anne Frank House and museum.
After watching and learning more about GS the last few years, I think he’s a great guy, and the exact opposite of his stage rocker persona. He was raised well, with good values, and in turn has raised his son and daughter to be wonderful young adults. But most of all, he’s unashamedly patriotic and has a deep (and vocal) love of this country.
All of this. He is such an unabashed capitalist and patriot that I was completely shocked when I heard that he voted for Bozo in 08. At least he is partially righting that wrong by not only publicly admitting that it was a mistake but also calling out the TOTUS on his disgusting policy in a way that even the most brain-dead voter can understand.
I've never been part of any Kiss Army or a huge fan but I have much respect for how Gene. I guess socially he has too much of a libertarian tilt and will be bashed by the pious types regardless. Whatever. I don't agree with some of his social positions but Hollywood would be a much better place if there were more Gene Simmons/Shannon Tweed types and fewer Tim Robbins/Susan Sarandon types IMO.
Usually I prefer the entertainment types to just "shut up and sing" but since the ones on the left will not, it would be nice if more of those on the right would speak out. Unfortunately there is a large segment of the electorate who base their vote on Justin Bieber's endorsement and more balance of voices/ideas would be nice.
“He is such an unabashed capitalist and patriot that I was completely shocked when I heard that he voted for Bozo in 08.”
He got sucked in by the “hope and change” and also, being aware of prejudice against minorities (his mom was a concentration camp survivor, I believe), he wanted to vote for the first black president.
Idealistic but stupid, he now realizes.
