A great day to sleep late in Jersey, as long as you’re not within earshot of St John’s in Montclair. via Interfaith Service at St. John’s Parish in Montclair | Baristanet.

This Sunday morning, May 22, at 10 a.m., the sounds of the adhan — the Muslim call to prayer — will ring out in St. John’s Episcopal Church Montclair.

While there’s no minaret at the church, the words of “Allahu akbar,” (God is greater) will none-the-less invite both Christians and Muslims to worship side by side. During the interfaith service, verses from the Holy Qur’an will complement readings from the Holy Bible, including during Communion, embracing the traditions of both religions.

Reverend Andrew Butler, Rector of St. John’s parish since September 1, 2010, decided to have this service in order to demonstrate that both Islam and Christianity stem from Abrahamic roots, as well as to dispell negative stereotypes about the Muslim faith.

Montclair has been an anti-American cesspool ever since the Mroz monster and the Boyce boil moved in.

And this will be, of course, matched by a Christian prayer service in a local Mosque... (Crickets)

Reminds me of a Do Rickles routine. Towards the end of his set he would say to all the Arabs in the audience for being such great sports (he picked on them)Stand up They stood he said OPEN FIRE

Figures it would be a piskie church. Their reigning bishopress has already declared that Jesus is just one of many ways to find god; and, recently, that believers literally don't know where they are going, but that she will lead them there.

Might as well worship the moon god, then-- can't hurt, right?

I would expect this from the Episcopal Church…an offshoot of the Church of England, which was founded for the sole reason that King Henry 8 wanted a divorce.

Note to Episcopalians: It ain’t allah, krishna, buddha, gaia, or any other false god...ONLY CHRIST IS SUFFICIENT TO SAVE SINNERS COMPLETELY.

Imagine this FIVE TIMES A DAY in your neighborhood!!

The Muzzi-In-Chief recites the call to prayer in perfect Arabic:

I thought that when muzzies worship inside a church that it then becomes a mosque......forever.

Anyway, the Episcopalian church is nothing but last night’s melted drink. Diluted, no taste, no character, and fit only to be poured down the drain.

I guess Andy has not read YHvH's Word
under the illumination of the Holy Spirit.

Just because the roots are strong does not prevent a branch from whithering.
