Good one, forwarded on far and wide.
Remember when Palin was resigning, NBC was talking all about it being due to some ‘federal indictment’ coming down the pike? They, with several other networks, kept repeating this to their audiences all day long (ultimately compelling the FBI into the very rare reaction of making a statement to deny it). NBC never recanted or mentioned this denial; they just dropped the story that next day, after having done their intended damage.
When it comes to Palin, they don’t even try to hang on to a tiny thread of truth... they go for the BIG LIE. Character assassination, pure and simple. Doing the bidding of their masters in the White House.
Does Andrea Mitchell have any other facial expression in her repertoire, besides “sourpuss?” Seriously, why does anyone give this harridan the time of day? She makes me almost feel sorry for Alan Greenspan.
Surprise! There’s more to Ted Shpak than told, as found by Freeper Sea Parrot.

A bad-ass “Hecks Angel” no doubt!
Didn't know that, things make sense now.
Thanks!
It will be interesting to see how soon Angrya corrects her mistake in print or on TV. A real journalist (haven’t seen many for a long, long time) would jump on the chance to correct their own mistake...
What’s your guess on how long it’ll take, how obscurely it’s done, or—MOST LIKELY—if she’ll do it at all?
The woman is a Snagglepuss.
There’s only one source for the confirmation that she was invited — the person who invited her. How could there be a second source for that? “Yes, he told me she was invited” — 2nd hand source.
HOTAIR did manage to find the person who invited her. Apparently, anybody can invite someone to the event, as opposed to having the organization invite her. I don’t think she ever said she was officially invited by the organization, so there wasn’t really a dispute there.
But if there is one official spokesperson, why would you be looking for multiple sources? The press doesn’t poke around for a 2nd source to verify the President’s pronouncements after the press secretary tells them what the administration is doing. And if you ask someone what they are doing, and they say they are going to dinner, you don’t try to find a second source to verify that that’s what the person was doing.
My point is that you don’t always have a two-source rule, when you are looking at the official pronouncements of an organization, you report what the spokesperson says.
In my opinion, Andrea’s sin was in being so gleeful that she didn’t bother to check if anybody had actually claimed Sarah was invited.
Comcast should be made aware if they already aren’t
