Now it’s already been buried by Baraq’s economic tsunami of $4 gas, 10% unemployment, recurring $1.5 trillion deficits, and spiraling food prices.
His “bounce” like him, apparently ....just doesn’t exist!!
The answer is not only simple but obvious. Also, Messiah bungled the killing of the mass murderer Bin Laden by trying to make himself out to look like he shot the bastard personally.

The political capital was burning a hole in Obama’s pocket, so he ran to the Mexican border to start campaigning for re-election under a “mission accomplished”//left-wing turn.
He should have used the political capital to move to the center and establish independence from Reid/Biden/Pelosi—because they were the ones who ran the country for Obama’s first two years.
Obama’s campaign rhetoric about the economy said one thing, but his actions showed that he wasn’t concerned or serious about the ONLY issue most people cared about after 2008——ie getting out of recession and into recovery.
Obama’s team figured that between their spending and Fed easing, we’d be out of recession fast-—and he’d get credit—otherwise, why risk health care reform???

I doubt whether there was ever much of a bounce. Lefties really didn’t care that much about it, and conservatives thought that he took credit he didn’t deserve.
What was interesting, perhaps, is that the press went all out, 24/7, for several weeks. And it still didn’t do him much good.

Because obl came out looking like the unabomber, with about as much power, not some Ian Fleming super genius?
Two points:
1. We don’t know what Obama’s numbers would be without the killing of bin Laden. My guess is that they would be a little worse, but not much.
2. The polls are chock full of cognitive dissonance. How can so many voters “strongly disapprove” of Obama, yet prefer him to every republican candidate, except for Romney? That’s like saying that the food at a particular restaurant is horrible, but they’d rather eat there than anywhere else (except Casa de Romney.) Wake up, voters!
I guess he’ll have to dredge up his pal from the bottom of Davy Jones locker and drag him around the campaign trail...........
Well, lots of people finally decided obama’s institution of bankruptcy for the USA and starting the “greatest ever, mother of all depressions” slightly outweighed the fact that someone, without any input from obama, put a few bullets into osama.
How are his poll numbers staying so high? They should be at about 25%.
