Pelosi Wants Weiner Probe
The Vitamin Press ^ | 06/09/11 | Kip Hooker

Washington- In a week that could hardly have used anymore bad news for New York Representative Anthony Weiner it would appear that such bad news has come. Today in Washington his, one time, greatest champion has come full semi-circle and decided to not only withdraw her support but to pursue an aggressive coarse of action in investigating what has come to be known, at least colloquially, as ‘Weinergate’.

In an exclusive interview with The Vitamin Press former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi made it very clear that she is displeased with the situation going so far as to say “I am very unsatisfied with Weiner,” and further ejaculated that “Weiner has left a bad taste in my mouth”.

When pressed as to what actions, if any, could be taken against the troubled congressman Pelosi emphatically stated, “I want a Weiner probe!”

News travels fast in Washington and mere hours after the suggestion had been made Representative Weiner’s press secretary Jon Stewart called a conference and just as emphatically stated, “Weiner probe! Weiner probe my ass! This isn’t about truth, this isn’t about justice. This is about stroking Weiner! And let me tell you . . . no one’s licked Weiner yet and Nancy Pelosi’s not about to be the first.”

Remember in the movie “Devils Advocate” where Keanu Reeves wife keeps seeing flashes of the demons inside the people when she looks at them

That is what I see whenever I look at these evil democraps

I think it’s the lighting.

Me thinks the same. She would look a lot better if there wasn't any.

When Pelosi said they were going to “drain the swamp of corruption” she didn’t tell us they would do so by drinking the swamp water.

I didn’t see the movie, but then I didn’t need too, I know exactly what you’re talking about. We know there is evil in the world, Pelosi and Reed are domestic exhibits of that truth.

Great name BTW. BNW is one of my all time favorites.

It's nice to have someone recognize its origin. I can't count the times I've been attacked as a "filthy Marxist" by knuckle-draggers here. I re-read the book recently and was struck by Huxley's prescience.

I don't know if I should laugh at that or go into the face palm.

I've read BNW twice. The first time was in high school and during those strange times of the 1990's cloning, virtual reality, conditioning and the velvet gloved despotism of the prozac/soma nation seemed far closer to reality than what Orwell had suggested. These days, however, I'm not as sure.

I think I'll re-read it pretty soon. It is truly a masterpiece.

Maybe both. Like any old science-fiction the book is dated and has technical (novelistic) flaws. But Huxley's ability to extrapolate from the science and cultural trends of his time was remarkable.
