I get so tired of the ankle biter’s meme that men are only attracted to Sarah Palin because she’s sexy. Well I am 72, so I might be an exception to their rule, but our youngest daughter is almost the same age her, and I see Sarah as a daughter.

I am fearfully protective of my daughters, and when they attack Sarah with lies and unfounded accusations, they are attacking one of my daughters. with all that implies as to my gut reaction.

Me too. This letter put into words what a lot of us feel. Sarah continues to impress me.

My only other comment is that I don’t want to push her to announce until she’s ready. What she’s doing right now is brilliant. Forcing the idiots in the media to play by her rules, and building a war chest as a private citizen. I believe every move she’s made since, and including the resignation from the governors office has been part of a well laid plan, and I don’t believe she’s going to let anyone convince her to deviate from the plan.
One of her problems with the McCain team was the fact they made her do things their way, and she is sure that’s what lost the campaign.

So any way... Hey Sarah, what he said! We’re all ready to start the race, you give us the word, and we’re in the fight!

You see, it's seldom you see something or someone so purpose-built for a particular task. People who looked upon Secretariat, or even now watch the grainy old videos of his Belmont win, knowing even a little about horses, will know what I mean. Sometimes, a thing, be it an animal, a human or even a machine is just perfect for the function they are performing...When you see that sort of rare perfection-to-purpose, it's awe-inspiring. It's captivating. It's mesmerizing. It is the stunned recognition of that which is a force of nature, a pure thing, pure to purpose and dedicated to an idea. It's wonderful to behold.
