Well. I formerly announce my membership in "Free Plaxico Burress!" group.

I thought he was an idiot before, but now.....sheesh.

I was part of the "Free Plaxico!" movement because, even dumbasses, have a Constitutional RIGHT to keep and bear arms.

Now that he has joined the enemy of freedom, Plaxico is my enemy.

Congrats Plaxico....you just made it onto someone in NJ's "Henry Bowman's list".

Plaxico is trying to get a job in the NFL. The NFL is very anti-gun.

Yep. He can make millions in the NFL, or go flip burgers for minimum wage. Were I he, I’d maximize my chances of making millions. Crazy thinkin’, I know.

Too bad he doesn't have enough sense to promote responsible firearms ownership.

Unless we protect the rights of the dumbasses and most lowly amongsts us (as long as they are not adjucticated insane) we are in danger of losing that RIGHT ourselves.

I was part of the "Free Plaxico" brigade because I hoped that he would fight for his rights, all the way to the USSC, even though he is not a good RKBA model.

I agree with you, somewhat, and feel that his sentence occured in that bar halfway between "Holy $hit" and "Thank you Lord!"

Teaming up with the Brady Bunch always makes it harder to turn over these unconstitutional laws. I want all gun control laws overturned: NFA 1934, GCA 1968, FOPA 86...ALL of them.

However now, the anti-gunners and leftists freedom haters ill use all of this negative PR of his actions and may further try to erode the protection of our God given RIGHTS.

Yep, if the NFL thought they could get away with it, they would ban players from owning a gun.

Well, actually pretty bright, he knows as a felon he cannot legally possess a firearm now so why not jump on the anti gun bandwaggon and probably get some free cash from the brady crowd to do so.

Burress, who no longer owns a firearm.

Maybe he bought another one, so now he owns two.

“Plaxico Burress announced Monday in New York City that he has partnered with the National Urban League and the Brady Center to combat gun violence.”

Well that explains his early release.

Why do the moderators even allow stories about trash like this out of New York be posted? Any story about or concerning the National Urban League should be offed; and frankly, out of respect for those of us in “fly-over” country, I’d start considering offing any stories aobut New York, LA, or SF.
