We have something that looks like that in our yard, er farm, I think it might be milk weed, not sure though. Take a leaf and pinch it off, see if it leaks something that looks milky.

Hmmm on second look I don’t think it’s milk weed. Milk weed has thicker leaves. Try taking it to a garden shop. They can usually tell you what it is and how to get rid of it.

Go to davesgarden.com. They have a whole section devoted to identifying mystery plants.

Milkweed? If so, it’s a favorite of monarch butterflies.

Email a pic of that to your state/county Ag Extension Service. They’ll help you out.

These people can help you:

Name that Plant

They are going to ask you things like... Is it woody or herbaceous? -- Do the roots grow sideways (runners)? -- What do the flowers look like? What zone do you live in?-- etc.

But without knowing any of those answers, I am going to guess a wild honeysuckle. If it is, pull it every time you see it and don't let it flower.

From the picture, looks like milkweed. If you break a stem or tear a leaf, do you get a sticky white liquid coming from the breaks?

If it is milkweed, you might as well just sell the property and move away, because your house will be gone - utterly eaten - within two years. In fact, you should probably nuke the site from orbit, it’s the only way to be sure.

Okay, I made the last paragraph up.

Yeah, negatory on the Milkweed thing. Milkweed appears to have pretty flowers, and this crappy weed doesn’t.
