>> “I found it quite silly for people to run down Bachman for repeating she had fostered 23 children [a wonderful thing], all the while ignoring that Sarah has her children onstage with her at many, many events!” <<

.
What is your point?

You make no sense. Nobody ignored Palin’s children on stage. The jerks tried to make it into some kind of crime. I can see why, it may be partly why Palin is the most wanted of all the candidates.

Perry’s push for super highway raises conspiracy buzz
Some say it’s part of a plan to create one nation in North America
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/5064512.html

Perry enhanced the conspiracy buzz earlier this summer by traveling to Turkey to attend the secretive Bilderberg conference,
which conspiracy theorists believe is a cabal of international monied interests and power brokers pressing for globalization.

The first, and most controversial, leg of the Trans-Texas Corridor plan is a proposed 1,200-foot-wide private toll road
to run from Laredo to the Oklahoma border parallel to Interstate 35. This TTC-35 would be built
by a consortium headed by Spanish owned Cintra S.A. and Zachry Construction Corp. of San Antonio.

Perry fueled his role in the debate in June by attending the Bilderberg annual conference,
a secretive closed-door meeting of about 120 business, government and media leaders from Europe and North America.

I get tired of Perry supporters slapping the praise on thick, while ignoring his social liberal stances.

Sorry if I offended you, but Perry is NO true conservative. Fiscal, yes. Social, only as much as he pretends (to garner votes).

What might bother me the most about Perry, is that the media really really wants him to take the “tea party” spot. Even though he has such the globalist record.

In some respects he’s better than Romney, in others he’s worse, but he’s an establishment candidate, not a tea party candidate.

What is your point?

My point is that you wrote; "With Palin there is nothing to apologise for." So I pointed out that her fans were quick to criticize Bachman for mentioning the 23 foster children on the Live Thread about the debate.

Everyone chooses when to applaud and when to berate. If the Clintons had paraded Chelsea around everywhere, they would have been criticized.

When you like a candidate you will accept things that you wouldn't in one you dislike, that's a fact.

Palin is the most wanted of all the candidates.

I read on many forums, that's not necessarily true.

You seem to be suggesting that parents rather than government whould be responsible for their children's, in this case daughters, health care.

Was a time that was a conservative position, this era of Obamacare might seem to be one, but government needs to step in at times.

Were it not for government in the schools , bananas wouldn't know how to have safe sex. Or kids wouldn't know to emulate bananas, it's all so confusing.

>> “If the Clintons had paraded Chelsea around everywhere, they would have been criticized.” <<

I cannot imagine why. She is their daughter, and belongs in view. Of course, back then before her many surgeries, she was truly butt-ugly, and may not have wanted to be so visible. That is not a problem very often for Republican candidates; Bush definitely used his very lovely daughters as a plus, as did Richard Nixon.

>> “When you like a candidate you will accept things that you wouldn’t in one you dislike, that’s a fact.” <<

.
And that is applicable to every facit of life, so what?

Life isn’t fair.

This superhighway has been in the works for many years, you can’t just blame Perry. I read a couple of years ago that the Chinese had already bought the ports in Mexico and Canada that the superhighway would eventually lead to!

I already wrote this above too - The Bilderbergers have been around for decades and MANY politicans, movers and shakers, are invited to these things.

This stuff has been going on for decades and yet, here we have Obama, the worst of all - and he was never invited to a Bilderberger ‘get-together’!

How do you draw that conclusion?

Looks like a bad guess to me.

[I get tired of Perry supporters slapping the praise on thick]

Read back through all of my comments, you won’t see me slapping praise on thick, gushing over how handsome he is, how wonderful he is, etc, etc.

I finally spoke up for the FIRST time on this thread because of people stating falsehoods. All I did was post links and corrections. I even said he isn’t ‘perfect’, an admission most won’t say about some others!

Good argument. Yes, Perry might not be quite as bad as Obama in Globalism, or at least not clearly worse.

Perry, not clearly worse than Obama on Globalism.

You know that is rubbish. You’ve been here a long time and went through the Clinton years here and KNOW how they would have been criticised!

And, you just admitted to me that you will accept things from the candidate you like but not the same things from one you dislike.

Then you proceed to call someone elses child ‘butt ugly’ without a pause.

[Life isn’t fair.]

I know it well. I know it well..

It’s good to be a Conservative. Some of ‘em are RINOs and if they want political office it is time for them to bail out of Republican politics and start their own party.

They should have been thinking about that back when they were playing twinkletoes with the Democrats.

Good argument.

Thank you!

Truthfreedom, I posted on this thread because I saw falsehoods being posted and merely tried to post links and corrections. I haven't been posting on the threads because of all the fighting.

I've stated over and over that Perry isn't perfect, but I do believe he could win. Obama is destroying us. Remember that Sarah Palin come to Texas and enthusiastically campaigned for Rick Perry.

[Looks like a bad guess to me.]

Anything would be a bad ‘guess’ to you if it didn’t suit your opinion. The list of people attending is usually leaked out and I read the current one not long ago.
