Economic Collapse - A Tsunami is Coming

We are either going into a Depression or Hyperinflation. The Dollar will be coming down and things will get tough. The Government is inflating the stock market along with the banks. The quiet before the storm. I feel it in my bones that we are on the brink of something big and bad. Get your S*#t together. The end of QE2, pushing the Debt Ceiling , Greece, Spain, Japan....all coming to a head. This scenario may begin this week considering the most recent report that the Greek military is threatening a military coup if parliment imposes more austerity measures. So its either default of revolution resulting in default.

If you haven’t already it’s time to prepare. You needed to be stocking up on food guns, ammo, basic household supplies like soap, papergoods, cleaning supplies, good sturdy clothes including extra socks, underwear and extra shoes and boots, a extra couple changes of oil and filters for your car, tools, things you buy everyday start buying two and put one up.

If you are just starting or an old hand at prepping I like to recomend that you look over my Preparedness Manual which you can down load at:

http://www.tomeaker.com/kart/preparedness1i.pdf

I think that we are at the very least in for a collapse much like that of Argentina’s ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yerKMQc7-w&feature=grec_index), but as a armed society with a very large entitlement minded population our collapse will be much more violent and I see many many small business wiped out by flash mob looting, and large scale violence (look at what happened just this past Memorial Day weekend)and then there is this is going on in Chicago:”Emanuel said he spoke with McCarthy over the weekend and again this morning about the situation. The mayor said the city’s reputation as a safe place to work and shop downtown is being endangered by the thuggery. Many of the attacks are happening near the biggest tourist and shopping attractions in the city.

But, CBS 2’s Jim Williams reports, the problem of mob attacks downtown is much bigger than the weekend beatings, according to beat cops who wanted to remain anonymous.”

And it’s not just Chicago, but Washington DC, Las Vegas, St Paul, Philadelphia and on most major big ‘Blue’ cities are increasingly reporting such flash mobs and gang muggings. Look what happened just this past weekend in Peoria, Il:

http://peoriachronicle.com/2011/06/25/peorians-living-in-fear/

Teenage Flash Mob Robberies on the Rise:

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/06/18/top-five-most-brazen-flash-mob-robberies/

Rash of violence isn’t flash mobs, it’s wilding

http://www.suntimes.com/news/roeper/5826624-417/rash-of-violence-isnt-flash-mobs-its-wilding.html

I see what I call ‘Pocket Pogroms’ taking place in many big ‘Blue’ cities and if you aren’t a “0bamamite yutes” it’s going to get Reginald Denny bad for you very quickly.

As the LDS say “When the emergency is upon us the time for preparedness has past.”

Or as the bible says: A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.
NIV Proverbs 22:3

And a little something for those who do not believe:
“Chance favors the prepared mind.”-Louis Pasteur

The older I have gotten the more I understand that total and complete collapse is the only way the criminal sociopath 'managing' our world can be stopped.

History teaches us this lesson over and over, as one socialist country after the next falls.

If America has issues, many will be exported to the G7, then the world. In the short run, the ones most harmed will the the third worlders and mid eastern states who have no economy or means of food production.

You can only punish producers while rewarding non-productive consumers for so long. Paul Krugman doesn’t understand this, but your grandmother did.

And still everyone sits and moans but does anyone take action to ACTUALLY do anything other than just talk, cry and worry?

Not around here. Plenty of freepers have already stocked up on precious metals, guns & ammo, gardens, canned goods, etc.
Where you been?

What action do you propose?
The fact is, no individual can do much of anything, other then leave the country, which I did.

Granted, the entire world is in a big mess, but at least I
live where most everyone has been poor for over 300 years, and are use to it.

I read this in another article earlier in the week, but there too was a lack of documentation, just a vague report about the Greek military possibly getting involved and staging a coup.

There are a lot of blogs citing “rumors” of a coup. Apparently it all stems from a Turkish newspaper article that claims the CIA has written a report warning of the possibility. Everybody seems to have taken this, along with the fact that the Greek military has done it before, and decided that the tanks are revving their engines as we speak. And of course the CIA will never say one way or the other whether such a report exists.

I guess it could happen, but it’s not like the Turks wouldn’t spin up a story just to make Greece look bad, either. Until we see troops in the streets, I’m considering this on par with a Debkafile report.

The first time a flash mob tries it’s thievery in Texas, the tree of liberty is going to get a big drink.

Especially if they try it after dark.

That could be the Archduke Ferdinand moment, because the DOJ might just have to confiscate firearms to protect Holder’s people after that.

I can't see a convential war along the lines of a civil war breaking out. The demographics are so mixed. Where do you draw the lines? It will amount to small militias versus flash mobs. "Call to arms - twitter says there's group of 70 YOOTS headed towards the Safeway and our food supplies..."

It wouldn't be news of distant battles, it would be in our neighborhoods.

The socialist Celente would know about how socialism collapses nations. His latest agenda is to replace our constitutional republic with direct democracy. That way, “Marx’s (glorious, holy) masses” could replace our corrupt Congress and messy individual freedom.

He is a piece of work.

Now you see why the subject is so perversely interesting. There are already casualties, but through a proxy war fought by illegal aliens and the bureaucracy (the miliary is more on our side, but neutered). Territory is geographically Red State Blue state, but more importantly virtual cyber territory.

Start thinking about how the new boundaries are drawn, it is still a civil war but very different than CWI given cyber resources, cyber cash, new media, proxy combatants, etc.

The Greeks are up in arms

The Libians, Syrians, Egyptains and others are in open armed rebellion

The French, English, Germans etc are in the streets protesting their government and promising to throw them out of office.

If you are used to being in poverty then in poverty you will remain

Have at least 6 months worth of food, plenty of gold and silver/ AND / plenty of lead. Also have a couple of caves I know of where I can live for a few years if necessary. Lots of game nearby.
