Sarah Palin Blasts Hollywood Stars as 'Full of Hate' at Movie Premiere
Hollywood Reporter ^ | 6-28-11 | Paul Bond

(Using the word "Blast" in the headline is way overblown from what she actually said....but, typical)

The first 10 minutes of "The Undefeated" doc features entertainers using vulgar language aimed at Palin, who told THR it was the first time she'd seen most of it: "It makes you want to reach out to some of these folks and say, What's your problem?"

PELLA, Iowa -- Sarah Palin stared a bit uncomfortably at a movie screen Tuesday night watching a montage of Matt Damon, David Letterman, Madonna, Howard Stern, Bill Maher, Louis C.K. and other celebrities malign her, then asked The Hollywood Reporter: "What would make someone be so full of hate?" our editor recommends Keith Olbermann Slams 'Very Stupid' Sarah Palin, Jokes About Anthony Weiner 'Sarah Palin's Alaska' Breaks TLC Ratings Record Sarah Palin, Bristol Palin File to Trademark Their Names

Palin was in Pella, Iowa, at the premiere of a documentary about her called The Undefeated, which opens with several minutes of Hollywood entertainers using some of the most vulgar language imaginable to express their displeasure with the former vice presidential candidate. Some appear genuinely angry, and director Steve Bannon cuts to news footage twice in the film of Palin being hung in effigy.

After the movie, as throngs of supporters and reporters clamored for attention, THR asked her: "In the first 10 minutes where all the celebrities are trashing you, how do you respond to something like that?"

Palin said she hadn't seen or heard much of the TV and radio footage before seeing it in the movie, which bleeped some of the dirtier language, though it was easy to determine what the entertainers were saying, including lots of profane references to the female anatomy.

"This is the first that I've seen much of that. It kind of takes you back," she told THR. "It makes you want to reach out to some of these folks and say, What's your problem? And what was the problem? And what is the problem?

Sarah Palin's 'Undefeated' Doc Sets World Premiere for Tuesday in Iowa

"What would make a celebrity, like you saw on screen, so hate someone that they'd seek their destruction, their death, the death of their children? What would make someone be so full of hate and, I guess, a sense of being threatened that they would want to see that person destroyed?"

The movie begins with Sen. John McCain introducing his running mate, then quickly cuts to the Hollywood sign, and the music turns ominous. A TV news anchor says, "Hollywood has a new favorite pastime: taking aim at Sarah Palin."

Then the celebrity montage begins: Damon likens Palin to a "really bad Disney movie" and says she's "really scary" and Letterman calls her "slutty," and the discourse descends in to the filthy from there. Maher calls her a "dumb twat" on his TV show, Madonna screams "Sarah F------ Palin" while on stage, and comedians use graphic, severely bleeped language to describe how Palin gave birth to a "retard." One entertainer after another calls Palin a "slut" or a "bitch" or describes the intensity with which they "hate her."

VIDEO: New Sarah Palin Documentary Emerges When the montage is through, the screen goes dark and a Bible verse comes into focus: "By their fruits ye shall know them."

As things got pushy with the media and the rest of the crowd and a security detail got more aggressive in protecting the former governor of Alaska, THR asked if she intended on defending herself against future celebrity barbs.

"I think the movie does that for me. But you know, there's never really a venue that absolutely lets somebody set the record straight. I mean, there are so many false narratives about me, about Todd, about our kids, about my record, about my team that has worked so hard together, that there's never gonna be a way to absolutely set the record straight."

I’m not a huge Palin fan, but seriously, what has she done other than be a conservative female who chose not to kill her child because he wasn’t perfect, that she would deserve the vile treatment she has gotten?

What else does she need to have done? Her very existence is an intolerable affront to the abortion-loving left. I'm convinced that nothing, not socialism, not gun control, not even sodomy, is as important to the (un)American left as the unfettered "right" to kill babies.

This picture:

and many others like it, damns the left for the bloody-handed murderers that they are. They hate her for it like they hate nobody else. It's truly demonic.

“but seriously, what has she done.............”

I’ve thought for a while the media is just using the name “Sarah Palin” as cover for what they really think about Middle America. And, it’s really starting to come out in the open more as somebody a day or two ago referred to Middle Americans as “slope-heads”. The word “racist” has pretty much run it’s course, so the left will continue to try out new words during this election cycle.

"...Matt Damon, David Letterman, Madonna, Howard Stern, Bill Maher, Louis C.K..."

As most of us learned in childhood..."consider the source". Lets investigate any person on that list to the degree that Palin has been "investigated" and maligned and I'll grant you that you'll come up with a lot worse things then they have on Palin.

The demogoguing of Bush, and now Plain, is the oncoming rush of Sharia law...only now it's "verbal stoning" of those who don't accept the evil ways of obama and his minions.

These people are enemies of America and should be soundly boycotted in their every endeavor. Take Letterman, for example...he called Palin and her children vile names, right before he got caught porking one of his own employees...lots of class there, huh David?

Letterman is not funny and has turned into low rent over the years. I wouldn't watch him if my brother was on his show. He is the ultimate hypocrite.

Maher is still stuck in high school where he found out that nose of his would not be ridiculed so much if he used it to become the class clown, and throw stones at others to deflect the ridiculous face that he owns.

The rest, well if they can't live up to the standards set by Sarah Palin, their insidious little jealous minds will just thrown mud at her.

It's the hollywood game - that's why most of them go from bing "stars of tomorrow" to being "has beens" in a very short time. There is no class left in hollywood.

The evil spirits within them recognize the Holy Spirit within her and that makes them angry.

Ephesians 6:

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

I think the same could be said of the Hollywood community as a whole. You note that only those who have acquired stardom speak out of their political leanings, and or trash Palin. They need to be reminded that "middle America" is why they have been monetarily successful. ......They behave much like politicians....playing to the crowd until they acquire their wealth and position, thereafter the fangs come out. Matt Damon was especially disappointing to me...I loved his movies. I will never attend any movies these dirt bags put out again..or purchase their DVD's.

Yes, they do. More accurately, the guilt of unrepented abortions combined with the denial or reality inherent in any attempt to justify abortion, causes insanity.

I have, unfortunately, witnessed such insanity first hand.

Out of the clear blue sky while sitting on the sofa, a relative said “I hate Sarah Palin”. When I asked him why he hated her so much his reponses was, first a stutter, then, “Because she’s stupid”.

I tried the argument of pointing out to him some of obama’s gaffs but quickly saw that it was no use. He truly does hate her. That is when our relationship began going down hill. I could not have a relationship with a stranger who is filled with hatred. Sharing DNA does not make it any easier.

So it’s not just celebrities. There are millions and millions of people who hate her for no reason other than she’s a threat to obama. They hate everyone who is a threat to obama. And that includes you and me though most will not openly admit it. This hatred runs deep and can never be reversed.

The only way to explain it is they must truly be brainwashed. I’ve never seen anything like it in my lifetime.

The only questins are:

“How do we stand up against people who are brain dead?’”

“What kind of action will they understand?”

“What kind of action will be successful?”

I think that response nailed it.
Sarah is an average American that got a little fed up with her local Government and did something about it. She, not being a Ivy league type elitist proved that the core Conservative values of everyday working Americans are better then them, not by screaming on TV but actually proving it. They hate being proving wrong, Everything she does and the way she lives proves them wrong and they cant stand it.

Good post. She isn’t just a threat to Obama. She is a threat to the whole of the left because she shines the light on them with the effect of sunlight on a vampire. For the left it is all about hatred, negativity, deception and emotional manipulation. It is about spirituality, and the lack of it. It is about the great deception and forces outside our world at work.

It is about good and evil, and let there be no doubt, the left is possessed, driven, and motivated by evil.

I read a very interesting article last week about “Why More Women won't vote for Sarah Palin”. It was very good and the same thing that the author brought out about Women is the same for the HollyWood Crowd. They are jealous of her. Here the Hollywood types work so hard to get their picture taken and they pay so much for publicity, and here Sarah can just walk into town and start a huge gathering. Sarah is the real thing, she doesn't strike back, she is good at getting her point across, and these Women and Hollywood Jerks are jealous, just look at how they turn green every time her name is mentioned.

This may explain your difference with your friend:

John 10:

1 “Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. 2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.” 6 Jesus used this figure of speech, but the Pharisees did not understand what he was telling them.

Tommix2,

I am thinking, asking other people questions, searching internet trying to understand where these Palin haters are coming from. This phenomenon is mysterious.

I know the answer.

Irving Janis, a Psych proffessor at Yale studied how groups make bad decisions like the Bay of Pigs. He developed a set of groupthink behaviors to avoid in order to promote good decision making.

The left looked at the behaviors and concluded if they promoted them to strategy instead of avoiding them, they could convince people to stay committed to them and their oppressive ideas/policies.

I've taken the liberty of casting them as commandments.

In particular, pay attention to behavior #4.

I Thou shalt create an illusion of invulnerability shared by most members to foster excessive optimism and encourage extreme risks taking

II Thou shall not allow any member to question the group’s inherent morality, instead members shall be encouraged to ignore the ethical or moral consequences of their decisions

III Thou shalt promote collective efforts to rationalize in order to discount warnings, or other information that might lead members to reconsider their assumptions before they recommit themselves to their assumptions

IV Thou shalt reinforce stereotyped views of enemy leaders as too evil to warrant genuine attempts to negotiate, or as too weak and stupid to counter whatever risky attempts are made to defeat their purpose

V Thou shalt self-censor any deviation from the apparent group consensus, inclining each member to minimize the importance of their doubts and counterarguments

VI Thou shalt create and maintain a shared illusion of unanimity concerning judgement conforming to the majority view

VII Thou shalt apply direct pressure on any member who expresses strong arguments against any of the group’s stereotypes, illusions, or commitments, making clear that this type of dissent is contrary to what is expected of all loyal members

VIII Thou shalt appoint mindguards to protect the group from adverse information that might shatter their shared complacency about the effectiveness and morality of their decisions

In other words, believe what we tell you and you will not be ostracized from the group.

Also, clearer now why bush was both evil and stupid isn't it. Guess they don't think the left will buy the Sarah is evil thing.

Regards,
Eddie01
