In his press conference today President Barack Obama did what we'd expect more from a terrorist than the leader of the free world. He threatened that if we don't give him more money, the nation's food supply may be compromised. His exact words when answering a question about negotiations to raise the nation's $14.3 trillion debt ceiling: "If we choose to keep those tax breaks for millionaires and billionaires...then that means we've got to cut some kids off from getting a college scholarship. That means we've got to stop funding certain grants for medical research. That means that food safety may be compromised. That means that Medicare has to bear a greater part of the burden."
So if those stubborn Republicans in Congress don't give in; our nation's children will be stupid, we won't cure cancer, grandma won't get medical care but none of that matters anyway because we'll all drop dead from eating tainted food. Mr. Obama really is a talented orator. In just a few seconds of speaking he managed to fan the flames of class warfare, demonize more than half of the US Congress and terrorize the American people. Al-Qaida would be proud!

It is still difficult for me to accept how someone this evil, twisted and hateful of America, EVER got into our White House.
Yes indeed. The Terrorist-In-Chief has spoken.
Ah, but it also means that union thugs won’t be feeding at the taxpayer trough, that ACORN and Planned Parenthood won’t be supported in their crimes and the murder of the next generation by our tax dollars, that cronies such as Jeffrey Immelt and Charlie Rangel will not be exempt from paying taxes while Joe Blow gets stuck with rising rates.
I’d say that is worth the piffling inconvenience of a “food safety” issue that will never be solved as long as we import food from countries who don’t require basic cleanliness in food handling.

Tax the rich or thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s wealth. Choose this day whom you will serve.
That’s what it’s all about.
The accusations about the agenda of public schools was accurate.
Like Rush said, those are preposterous choices.
McConnel, Boehner and especially the Repub candidates need to be hammering this.
After running up the debt and deficit, the dumbles and zero want to maintain the unsustainable spending at our expense.
The choice, as$holezero, is keep funding your union thugs and other favorites or making the food supply less safe.
It works both ways.
It's what you're forced into as the smartest man in the world. We are all too dumb to understand anything else. /S

Every morning Obama wakes, stretches and reads the following framed set of commandments which calibrates his moral compass.
The Eight Commandments of the Left:
I Thou shalt create an illusion of invulnerability shared by most members to foster excessive optimism and encourage extreme risks taking
II Thou shall not allow any member to question the group’s inherent morality, instead members shall be encouraged to ignore the ethical or moral consequences of their decisions
III Thou shalt promote collective efforts to rationalize in order to discount warnings, or other information that might lead members to reconsider their assumptions before they recommit themselves to their assumptions
IV Thou shalt reinforce stereotyped views of enemy leaders as too evil to warrant genuine attempts to negotiate, or as too weak and stupid to counter whatever risky attempts are made to defeat their purpose
V Thou shalt self-censor any deviation from the apparent group consensus, inclining each member to minimize the importance of their doubts and counterarguments
VI Thou shalt create and maintain a shared illusion of unanimity concerning judgement conforming to the majority view
VII Thou shalt apply direct pressure on any member who expresses strong arguments against any of the group’s stereotypes, illusions, or commitments, making clear that this type of dissent is contrary to what is expected of all loyal members
VIII Thou shalt appoint mindguards to protect the group from adverse information that might shatter their shared complacency about the effectiveness and morality of their decisions

Yep, Obama wants the debt ceiling raised. And Congress wants to find a slippery way to give him that and to hike taxes. They’ll find a time of distraction, or their favored, government-dependent business constituents—sponsors of the media—will create it for them.
The Republican leadership should outline exactly which useless programs and agencies and spending practices could be cut to satisfy the current debt ceiling. Repeat it loudly and often. I’m not holding my breath for that, though.
I'm sure it's also exactly the same temper tantrum Zero displayed to his secretsponsors when he didn't have enough money for college or trips to Pakistan or money to get married or clothes for his kids or jobs in government ....
Raising the debt ceiling won't do squat for the deliberately flooded farmland that won't be producing food this year. (what did Zero do during the five months of record snowfall to prepare for the runoff?) It won't do squat for the millions unemployed by this administration. And it won't do squat for the thousands of acres in Texas and Arizona burned to a crisp while Zero played golf.
We need to laugh out loud at this con man is until the day he surrenders the keys to the office he didn't deserve and certainly didn't earn.

Notice the marginal tax rates on people making incomes that hardly qualify them as "millionaires". And, if you kept the present rates on the three lowest brackets and concentrated them on those making $82.4K (S) and $137.3K (M) and up - the marginal rates would have to go up to near 100% to make up the difference.
Either way, nearly all capital formation and investment by individuals in the US would instantly cease. Is that what Obama wants? Yep.
We do not have a revenue problem: we have a spending problem and the Kenyan Serial Liar knows it.
With his presser yesterday, Obama reveals that his plan for "getting the car out of the ditch" is to shut off the air and fuel to the engine.
The air would be capital formation, reduced by targeting employers and investors through tax and regulatory policies, and the fuel will be shut off through energy policy. Shouldn't this be our metaphoric answer to this nonsense?
