The impasse between the Republican legislature and Democratic Governor Mark Dayton that led to a shutdown of the states government is hurting those most vulnerable says Dayton. Take the case of Sonya Mills, Dayton suggested. This single mother of eight stands to lose the $40,000/ year subsidy we were providing. Now whos going to take care of her children? Or is she supposed to do it herself?
Termination of funding to Ms. Mills is a consequence of there being no budget. There is no budget because Governor Dayton refused to consider reductions in spending to match the decline in tax receiptstaking the possibility that people like Ms. Mills be asked to get by on a little less off the table.
Jeez, talk about a one trick pony.
If that piece of SHIT Dayton feels that bad for her he should write her a check,40,000 a year help!any one think to let the daddy’s pay who have been spanking that baby factory, what a crock of SHIT!
Ha! You’re fast! Good stuff as always.
Ms Sonya was a product of your entitlement policies that knowingly seduce and encourage fatherless families as a normal way of life while you deceitfully feed off these uneducated impoverished people for your own despicable gains.
Does he take pride in smacking down a poor widow woman with 8 kids? Is that what he's into?
Almost got me...
“$40,000/ year subsidy”
I grossed 43k and change last year. I owe on the house and that is it.
Dayton is the epitome of the MN spirit, where people look after one another, and some pay and some receive. They never expected the receivers to outnumber the payers.
I should know to look if its written by John the minute my blood pressure go’s up 20 points,as for my comment it stands.
All this governor has to do is sign the budget the Republicans put forward, including the increase in spending that is in it, and the poor octo-mom will have the public teat thrust into her pouting lips once again. In our world, 10% raise is not enough if there is anyone who still has more than you, right Guv?
As my Dad (RIP) used to say
a liberal is somebody who wants to give your money to the poor so the liberal can feel good about themselves
IdiotDayton should have thought about that before attempting to further increase taxes, as par for libtard idiots who fail at realizing that spending is the problem not revenues....=.=
Which in a rational world would be automatic.
Had I known it was so easy to get $40k a year by producing 8 kids, I might have chosen that option myself.
But then, of course, if it were that easy then, we would have had national bankruptcy, and this conversation, 40 years ago...
47% on foodstamps, 50% paying no income taxes, 70% incompetent in High school subjects, and 100% eligible to vote is an insane asylum only an ignorant politician could create, grow and continue to defend.
I didn’t make $40,000 last year and my house is paid for. Why am I working when the government gives away so much?
I know a MN liberal personally, and talk about the “closed mind” that he claims to abhor!
The Minnesota governor is another d*ckless liberal who needs to be tossed onto the trash heap of history. Hope you Minnesotans have what it takes to get 'er done!
Just a FYI.. It’s been reported this welfare queen only has 6 kids.
The benefits would be higher if it was 8.
And Dayton is still a loser/SOB. He and his minions in the media are going to hang the republicans with this. They are talking, but no one in the media is listening. They need to go over their head and to the people.
