Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the United States as a champion of freedom and a great ally of Israel in his address to the annual Fourth of July celebration at the U.S. ambassador's residence in Tel Aviv Thursday night.

Netanyahu recounted the history of the American Revolution 235 years ago, saying that many of the ideas that fueled the U.S. struggle for independence are applicable to nationalist aspirations today, particularly in the Middle East.

The prime minister lauded the United States for its unwavering commitment to freedom, saying “never in history has there ever been a nation so concerned with the freedom” of people throughout the world. He added that few nations appreciate this commitment more than Israel.

Netanyahu emphasized the importance of U.S.-Israel ties, saying that since its inception 63-years-ago, the United States has been an unrivaled ally and invaluable source of support.

“For decades, America has stood by Israel’s side,” he said, adding that Israel owes much of its success in defeating its attackers to American assistance.

Netanyahu credited the U.S. with moral, diplomatic and military support for Israel, praising the Obama administration for its insistence on the importance of reaching a negotiated settlement with Israel’s neighbors. The prime minister thanked the U.S. for providing Israel with the means to deploy the Iron Dome missile defense system in the south, which has successfully intercepted missiles launched from the Gaza Strip at civilians.

“Our struggle has succeeded thanks to the support of the United States, morally and militarily.”

Currently there is support for efforts to seek peace, which will only be achieved through direct negotiations.”

Netanyahu said that Israel never had, nor would it ever have, a better partner than the U.S. “May the power of the U.S. prosper forever, and may the friendly ties between us continue to deepen,”Netanyahu said.

He is correct. Never did Israel need the U.S. more and never was it so important that the U.S. support Israel. This nation is being weighed by God as to what we are really made of.

God said way back in Genesis that he would bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel. All one needs to do, is look at Europe post WWII vs America post WWII to see that this commandment still holds true.

Yep, true that far back. Still true now.

If you have any questions about his power look at this video of Netanyahu before our Congress on May 23, 2011. Powerful delivery and reception.

Obozo hates Israel. We allow him to endanger Israel at the nations peril. FUBO!

Obozo is a servant of the great deceiver, the prince of darkness.

He can fool many men, but he cannot fool God.

God is still in charge.

"The Book" does not say that mankind will bring peace to the Middle East, quite the contrary. Christ will return and deal with the enemies of Israel, in his own due time.

I saw a video with Bibi (and his wife) with Sarah Palin (and Todd). Bibi literally beamed when he talked with her. He knows how she feels about Israel.

Much different than how Bibi looks when he meets Obozo. Zero trust with Obozo. (merited)

I doubt Bibi would leave Obama downstairs to stew while having dinner with his family. As an American, I am completely offended by how Obama treated and continues to treat Bibi. I am ashamed.

On a happier note, Michelle Bachman was a Kibbutz volunteer as a teenager. She loves Israel!

Bill O had his body language expert, Tonya Reiman, talk about the Bibi/BHO sit-down presser from May. She said the dislike & disdain of BHO for Bibi was obvious, taking apart his look and body language. In fact, she said the dislike was mutual.
