Totally useless grandstanding.
If I had kids in school, I would make sure they got remedial counterpropaganda instruction as regular as clockwork.

“I don’t need leftist NEA members to teach my kids how to think. They already know how to do that, even the ones who are under five years of age.”

The problem is that schools used to teach kids analysis and critical thinking, which they need to learn just as we did. Now, schools at all levels are made up of the Lefties you mentioned, and instead of teaching kids HOW to analyze and critically think (for themselves), these shameful (but powerful) “teachers” are telling kids WHAT to think.

Big difference.

“I would argue that computers have no place in the classroom K-12.”

What are you, some kind of Neanderthal? The teachers will TAKE YOUR HEAD OFF if you say that in public.

For if you get rid of computers, teachers will actually have to teach...something they’re generally unable to do these days, due to their ideological handicaps.

“And stop the “You all MUST take a second language.” “

I’m ok with the second language part...otherwise how would half of the kids learn English?

TRUE STORY!We’ve had middle school kids come into our district that spoke no English. They were proficient in Spanish. They were put in a French class because state regs said they had to be in a foreign language class. Go figure !

LOL...there’s a LOT MORE of that (i.e., non-English primary instruction) going on than Americans are led to believe.

We would be HORRIFIED if we found out just how much.

“Computers are an unnecessary expense for township schools. Kids learn better without them. Computers are a great technology and thinking kids will master them quickly when they need to...teach them to think first.”

But how is Apple going to get paid back for all their support of Obama and the gay agenda?

I would argue that with the advent of the computer, and the internet, there’s little or no need for the classroom.

You are absolutely correct. Check out this TED video:

The video was excellent.

I just completed two webinars, mandatory education for my license. The courses were excellent. The "teacher" became the monitor. The interaction and connection to the subject remains the driving force.

My problem is: In every case where I have met the child, they lack social interaction skills....there are no sports, no music....I'm not sure they'll make it in the USA.
