This morning, I was clicking around on this site to see if I could find anything to help a poster who was having trouble with his display. I was looking for the "Preferences" page which is accessed from the "Account" page.
And, at the very top of the "Account" page is this recap of my own account.
You've posted a total of 842 threads and 40,007 replies.
Now, I have been a member here for a while, but any way you slice it, that is a LOT of use.
I'll simply suggest that anyone who reads this, please check your usage. There is a FReepathon (fund raiser) going on. Every one of those 842 threads and 40,007 replies involved cost that has to be paid for.
I could do the math and post resulting fraction of a cent that I have given to cover that cost. It would be very, very tiny.
But, it would not be zero.
Please think about it. Thank you for reading.

The cost per view would be small but the largest subtotal amount of the total cost. People who just view need to help also.
Where else could you get this amount of info, enjoyment and discourse for the price? All while helping the conservative cause?
I agree there's something to be said for looking at your stats and pondering the concept of "fairness".

There is no place. Consider the many attempts for "alternative" sites. They spring up, flourish for a bit. Then they crash and burn. More than once.
Don't ask me for details. I don't go there. But, I get reliable information from those who do keep up with such.

I donate using automatic credit-card payments monthly.
I wish it was easier to be reminded of my present level of contribution. I would up it by a couple of bucks a month, but I run the risk of inadvertantly reducing my contribution. Is there a way to find this information?

If memory serves me correctly, there was a server change around 2002/2003 that reset this number also so it may be far, far larger than that.
