The Ken Allen FOIA response file now updated with a copy of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services DVD file listing "records relating to Barry Soetoro...." Do all the redacted pages in the FOIA response contain information about the living person named Barry Soetoro A.K.A. Barack Obama? And why would Barry Soetoro A.K.A. Barack Obama have immigration records?

It has always been a mystery of ‘who had legal guardianship and custody after the Christmas 1970 return. The only thing that seemed to make sense was that the Grandparents would have custody. Without it would they agree to take on the responsibility of raising a child with on parent in Indonesia and the other absentee parent since day one in Kenya? It would not make sense. It would seem they would want clear, concise, legal custody.
So how does ARO work? Do they take legal guardianship and then ensure the child has a ‘foster’ home such as the grandparents? Is Obama really this ‘family-less’ in the early 1970s?

Is the significance of this release of info simply its source: that it came from the INS?
Is it just me, or are other people having difficulty understanding the purpose of the main post? I’ve followed all the links but I don’t seen any immigration papers for “Barry Soetoro.” That is what I expected to find. It has long been known (by myself at least) that there was a FOIA request for immigration documents for “Barry Soetoro” but I see nothing new in this article.
Could someone point to me where to see the immigration documents for “Barry Soetoro”?
If you had, you'd see the FOIA request included not only the immigration records of a Barry Soetoro, but also Lolo and Barack H. Obama, Bambi's father. And guess what? The records sent back were of Bambi's father.

There's nothing to spin. The blogger is lying through his teeth. The only immigration records that the FOIA produced are those of Obama's father.

The blogger is sensationalizing a nothing story; the fact that a request for documents regarding "Barry Soetoro" has been filed, with apparently till now no results. This is not the same thing as lying. It is attempting to infer information from a lack thereof.
Just look at silly Curiosity on this thread who gets her "facts" incorrect as usual.
I noticed many blank or whited out pages of redacted material in this FOIA release. For example, redacted and likely key information are missing from pages 96 and 101.
What do you think of the recent revelation that the reporter at the Boston Globe seemingly obtained those documents without having some sections redacted? (Specifically the part about Barack Sr. giving barry up for adoption?)
The Obama administration trusts the Boston Globe that are owned by the New York Times to protect or spin about Obama’s past... And possibly working an angle to get Obama off the eligibility hook if or when possible detrimental info may become public.
Yeah, that's kinda my take on it too. They intentionally give more information to friendly journalists and withhold it from critics. It ought to be illegal, but who is going to sue?
