Israel's existence as a Jewish state is anathema to the Left because it is located in a region dominated by Muslim nations (whom leftists have formed an ideological and sympathetic bond) that outnumber Israel in terms of size and population 100:1. Besides, Israel is bad because it is Western, accountable to its people, democratic, thriving and successful. That offends people who would rather throw their lot in with medieval Islamists whose system of justice and leadership date back some 1400 years. Muslims are killing one another in the Middle East and targeting non-Muslims but that is somehow quaint, outside of the conversation, excusable and quite acceptable to leftists. I have some advice for her -- try living in Gaza, Syria or Iran for several years! ...

Its really too bad that the muslims cannot take the responsibility for their Islamic failures which have oppressed their peoples. Failures in ideology and leadership.
Show me one place where they have had a successful economy. Show me their inventions that have benefited modern man. Show me their rights , freedom , liberty and democracy that they yearn for that western man has had since the Magna Carta. Sure they can parrot the English words... but have NO idea of the culture nor heritage... and aside from that cuzz its a Christian concept, it is anti-thetical to their Sharia.
We have over 800 years since that cornerstone and over 1200 years just to get there.
