"Ignorance is bliss" as they say. When Palin resigned the left had a conniption fit. Their nearly 200 frivolous lawsuits then became "null and void". The left wing media also knew and were obviously horrified that a major conservative force for the 2010 election was now unfettered and motivated.
Sarah Palin was personally the major factor for about 30 primary defeats of RINO Republicans... She also was free to work for the general election victories in most of those races. November 2, 2010 became an election massacre of historical proportions in a significant part because of her efforts. Many of the RINO candidates, had they been nominated would have lost.
The reason the MSM, leftist "entertainers" and the Democrat party keeps attacking her is because they know a heck of a lot more than "conservative Sarah Palin detractors. They understand "brand power" as in professional advertising. They understand the impact of thousands of people massing for a reason and the reason is, Sarah Palin is coming! Everywhere she goes she draws HUGE crowds and the Left understands the psychological effect that masses of people create; the sheer numbers build awareness and curiosity. That causes people to pay attention.
Madison Avenue in NYC is the Advertising hub of America; they KNOW how to sell anything. They understand the initial "hook" and once their desired public perception takes hold the consumers are almost programmed to buy their product.
Why has the left attacked, for over 2 1/2 years, a private individual running for absolutely nothing? Why are they attacking Michele Bachmann? Why did they attack Romney's Mormonism the last Presidential election in 2008?. Why did they destroy George Allen very early declaring his “Maccaca” comment as RACIST? Allen was a popular former governor and current senator of the VERY IMPORTANT KEY swing state Virginia.
The Left KNOWS they have to get rid of dangerous candidates early.. they actually "picked" John McCain for the GOP the last time using that tried and true process of destructive elimination. DESTROY Legitimate contenders EARLY. They know how to use "Useful Idiots" useful REPUBLICANS who are naively captured by their persistent influence campaign. There are true conservatives who are "parroting the 'quitter' label" and haven't a clue but the left knows they have many unwitting allies. The professional influence agents understand human nature and they "KNOW" as Joseph Goebbels "KNEW", if you REPEAT a lie enough times, as in Palin's case for over 2 1/2 years and counting, it becomes truth. They do it every election cycle; they tried it with Ronald Reagan. For those of you old enough to remember the attacks on him, they labeled him as "nothing but a B grade actor" or, "he’s too inexperienced and non diplomatic; he will start WW3". Or, he's just a second rate actor without substance. Remember George W. Bush and the talking point word "GRAVITAS"?.
How do conservative thinkers like being played for fools?. I never attack any Republican candidate, I will certainly relate my preference but to attack those preliminary candidates who are of somewhat similar politics because your mind has been manipulated by professionals will almost certainly give the Republican Party another weak candidate and, horrifically a probable re-election of what you obviously fear most... FOUR MORE YEARS of BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA.

THINK for yourself. Liberals are parrots, repeating the latest lie about ANY Conservative likely to put REAGANOMICS in action if they’re elected, as soon as they are elected. The Communists, Atheists, and Socialists KNOW that what Reagan did when he came into office behind Carter WORKED. We lovingly refer to the "unwitting allies" of the left on FR, as PDSers. It's going to be interesting to see how much longer they're tolerated here.
Obvious typo.. No problem in the body of the comment.So I guess I’m slightly chagrined but I really don’t care much.
If ignorance were truly bliss then half the worlds population should be deliriously happy.
