Walsh suggests that the success of his effort could have prompted the Gang of Six to unveil their proposal when they did as a last-ditch effort to delay, once it became clear that McConnell-Reid could not possibly pass the House. Beyond that, he says of the Gangs plan, I dont think theres anything there.

Mark Levin had focused on Reid's parliamentary chicanery, but I did not know about Walsh's efforts in the House.
Thank G-d there are people like Walsh in The House.
Eeeexcellent. Saxby is apparently admitting that telling the truth, as Walsh is so inclined to do—repeadedly, has killed the idiot sellout McConnell plan.
On another thread, a FReeper said “get ready for blah blah blah” to happen, based on the Gang of Six plan...it was the taxes in it he was referring to. I said it would never pass the House. This was after I had maintained that McConnell/Reid would not pass there, either.
Hannity assessed it well...they went riding off in all directions...a plan here, a plan there, a plan everywhere, instead of coordinating an approach (cut, cap and balance) and saying to Obama, this is it, pal. Negotiating against themselves, while Obama never committed a single word to a piece of paper.
The best thing that happened to Boehner is that Obama way upped the demands at the last minute, forcing Boehner to walk away. Because whatever “plan” Boehner might have signed onto, it would have never been implemented as negotiated.
Thanks Stalwart.
Thank G-d there are people like Walsh in The House.
They are the only ones standing between the survival or fall of this great country. With only a handful of exceptions in the senate, the Senate has caved. The Gobbler, McConnell needs to go.
