Space Shuttle Atlantis made its final landing today at the Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, Florida officially marking the end of NASAs 30 year-long space shuttle program that included 5 vessels, 135 missions and millions of gallons of fuel.
We are sad to see the space shuttle go it is endlessly amusing to watch people float in zero-gravity but we are a little relieved to know that the blast of emissions from each shuttle launch will no longer be spewing into the atmosphere adding to the effects of global warming.

poke poke, yep I'm real
So where do you get off by saying the space shuttle causes global warming?
Where did I say the space shuttle causes global warming, whatever that is.
You are no better than polititians who spout on about climate change in one sentance and in their next sentence start talking about
Why do you feel the need to throw personal attacks when you clearly have no idea where I stand? For you to base your weak understanding on the one line I've posted shows you are not a rational thinker but base your opinion on FEEEELINGS.
Have a nice day slick.
LOL
Where's the 'Not this sh!t again' guy when you need him? :-)
I wonder if this a$$clown is so concerned about greenhouse gases generated by Soyuz boosters blasting off from the Baikunor Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan ... for some reason, he's probably not so concerned about that. I wonder why ...
AFRL has already made fuel from grass, flowers, etc. The question is ramping up production.
When we lived in the Northeast, we used to put our dirty pots and pans out on the deck when it rained.
The acid rain always got them so nice and clean.
The horrors! The Russians will have sole access to the study of the growth of alfalfa sprouts in micro-gee environments.
Its about more than alfalfa sprouts. Its dishonest to even imply that is the extent of the work being done and things being learned.
Yea, but it is not coal or nuclear so it is ok.

NASA makes 5 Shuttles, finishes with 3.
” 60%, Not Bad!! “
It's just depressing - Wikipedia already has everything about the program referenced in the past tense.
“vessels that would harvest gas from Uranus to travel.”
Today, Myanus would be a great source of gas. Too much horseradish yesterday! Even put it on my poached eggs!
BTW; Every reply at the link is ripping the author a Nuanus!

Millions of gallons of fuel saved? When I read this I didn’t think of shuttle fuel, I thought about all the NASA workers that no longer have jobs and won’t be driving to work anymore. Thanks Obama. You really know how to ruin a country.
“Where did I say the space shuttle causes global warming, whatever that is.”
You quoted=
“but we are a little relieved to know that the blast of emissions from each shuttle launch will no longer be spewing into the atmosphere adding to the effects of global warming.”
No I quoted from the article “millions of gallons of fuel, a technique usually done to show the specific part of the article being referenced. It’s not done to show agreement.
So once again, where did I say the space shuttle causes global warming. Tell me which post.
I told you what you said....If you can’t read your own comment ,then go figure....
It was a quote from the article ya bozo. A regular rocket scientist you are.
