Imagine if on the night Paul Revere made his famous ride, the colonists cursed him softly, rolled over and went back to sleep. Then imagine that the red coats were able to stop the Revolution even before it began and all those would be revolutionaries blamed Mr. Revere. That alternate reality came to mind today when I tuned into CBS's Face the Nation. David Axelrod, President Barack Obama's chief re-election strategist, appeared on the program and referred to the US credit rating downgrade as "essentially a tea party downgrade."

1. The newly elected tea party members in Congress were not there when all this debt was created and were not part of ongoing year after year budget deficits.

2. The newly elected tea party members in Congress were elected to reduce spending, reduce the debt, and work towards a deficit free government.

3. The newly elected tea party member in Congress were opposed to raising the debt ceiling ... they did not get what they wanted ... and we were downgraded anyway.

There is some serious dulusional propagandizing going on in the sycophant media, who despite what they say, are advocats for the status quo and FOR the fat cat rent seekers, bankers, wall streeters, corpsters and government contractors ... because that’s who this debt ceiling raise benefits.

Everyone who’s been involved in making policies for over three decades is to blame.

The authors of the Federalist Papers, a series of hotly debated thesises, printed in the newspapers for everyone to read during the debates which took years, are the equivelant of the Tea Party debate.

And look what the Federalist Papers brought us? Tea Party Hearty!

Everyone who engaged in vote buying legislation is to blame. Why do you think that exactly half the populace pays no taxes? Each election buys their 45% in the middle, and then bargains for the other 10% who swing the vote.

Pretty simple problem to identify at the root.

“Everyone who’s been involved in making policies for over three decades is to blame.”

#####

Correct. The Republicans have done an utterly abysmal job of differentiating themselves from the collectivist Democrats.

That said, the RaceMarxist and his Communist Congress, have pressed the pedal to the metal and kicked in the full-throated, 4 barrel roar of fiscal insanity.

And most of those who do pay taxes get their incomes from taxes and debts.

1. true
2. true
3. many of those new members, elected to cut the spending,
voted to INCREASE it, by 9 trillion over the next 10 years.
...even AFTER S&P and Moody’s warned that an increase of more than 5 trillion would cause the downgrade.
(needed a “cut” in the increase, of at least 4 trillion).

MANY good tea party members, like DeMint, Bachmann, Hunter, voted “NO!”.
i give great praise and credit to those HEROES,
who did what was best for America,
instead of what Reid and Obama wanted,
causing the downgrade.

Sometimes, shooting the messenger is the right thing to do. Specially if you're not a grownup and can't handle hard choices.
I speak from experience.

In 2004 a biopsy indicated that I had a mature cancer.
When the doctor told me I needed surgery the following week, I fired him.

I died in 2004, a slow agonizing death.

But I didn't have to make a most unpleasant choice.
