Now THATís a Scary Thought
Grand Rants ^ | 08-10-11 | Stoutcat

You know, I’m beginning to have some frightening thoughts. For example, on Monday, as I simultaneously watched the President say nothing useful and the Dow plummet nearly 200 points, I found myself thinking that maybe Joe Biden wouldn’t make such a bad president after all.

Yes, I know, good old open-mouth-insert-foot Joe, they guy who, while introducing wheelchair-bound Sen. Chuck Graham, called to him to “[S]tand up, Chuck, let the people see you!”

The same Veep who was caught on mike during the Obamacare signing ceremony telling the President, “This is a big f*ing deal!”

The very same gentleman who was confused enough to think that JOBS is a three-letter word. Ah well.

Regular readers here probably know that I started Obama’s presidency unhappy but willing to give the man the benefit of the doubt and hoping for his success in office. In the intervening years, I’ve come to the conclusion that he’s, well, an idiot. I know that sounds harsh, but really, how else does one describe a man who speaks of 57 states, who is the Commander in Chief of our armed forces and, in a rehearsed speech, mispronounces the word “corpsman” not once, not twice, but three times? What else could you call someone who thinks there is language called Austrian... Who makes jokes about the Special Olympics...

Biden is a fool, but at least he doesn’t hate the country.

Just about anything would beat what we have now.

It’s way past time he was impeached.

Dow plummeting and Obama saying nothing useful...

...just another day in hopey, changey paradise.

This is a president who, by his abject insistence on “leading from behind,” by his disastrous inaction, by his complete lack of engagement with his job and his nation, has allowed our nation’s AAA+ credit rating to drop for the first time ever.

I used to think this, too. Now, I think all of his policy "mistakes" are actually by design. He wants to destroy this country.

Some of us have known that from the outset, and were ridiculed for saying so. The evidence was there from the outset. One really need look no further than his association with Ayers, Dohrn, Wright etc., or read *his* books.

Having a cracked head seems to be a new job requirement.

“She’s now a member of the cracked head club like me. “

Biden is a simple but dumb guy, a happy go lucky dufus.
He actually fun to listen to at times. He’s not nearly as hateful as most liberals. He has a ready smile while most liberals are constantly scowling.

He’d make a good cab driver, and consequently a better president than we have now.

I'd go with Biden right now.
At least when we rip his stupid comments, the media can't cry racism anymore.

He was talking about 60 states, not 57. Why is this a hard concept? He said that he had been to 57 states already with one to go and he wasn't allowed to go to Alaska or Hawaii. 57 + 1 + Alaska + Hawaii = 60. 60 states. Hawaii 6-0 anyone?

...or read *his* books.

Therein lies the problem. The bulk of his support comes from people who don't understand what's going on in the world around them. Man, I wish we had a current events test you had to pass before you could vote. Who knows, it might even keep the dead people in Lake County, Indiana from voting...twice!

That is just the perfect description! And I'd rather have Joe Doofus as our President than our current POTUS.

Good point. (And just out of curiosity, why wasn't he "allowed" to go to Alaska or Hawaii?)

He said his staff could not justify it. Geez, those clymers can justify pissing away trillions of dollars, you’d think they could find a way to justify a few thousand here or there to visit two more states.

As flaming ridiculous as Joe is consider that he’s been sent back to DC for yrs. The electorate of DE must be mindless drooling zombies or either cosmically apathetic. In any case Joe isn’t the stupid one in this equation.

If Biden was president the military would tell him absolutely nothing. In fact, congress should pass a law that if anyone tells Biden anything they should be tried for treason.

If he was president and I was an officer I’d resign my commission immediately. It would not be safe working for this idiot.
