If you had been the parent of a sixth grade girl when Perry mandated that she be vaccinated with Gardusil, and you had dared to question the safety of the drug, you would have been laughed at by Perry supporters, and told to sit down and shut up.

Sometimes I think many of the posts by so called paulbots are not really paulbots at all. I think they may be plants to make cut and run look even more stupid than he really is. Nobody could actually believe much of what they say.

Strange analogy. Bank robbery is illegal by its very nature. Stealing is illegal AND immoral. Using drugs is not by its nature illegal, and whether or not it's immoral is even open to debate. There's no commandment that says "Thou shalt not ingest substances that make you act like an idiot."

I have no idea who or what you're referring to. But Ron Paul is as strongly pro-life as any candidate running. The Gardusil mandate had nothing to do with State's Rights. It had to do with a dictatorial executive using his power to override the will of the people.

Anyone who knows anything knows that the surrender monkey DEMANDED that an under aged girl be allowed to cross state lines in order to get an abortion when it was not legal in the state she lived. HE IS NOT AGAINST ABORTION. He is only against it when it fits his position. Just like he only follows the Constitution when it follows his agenda.

Where do you draw the line? Is it immoral to eat beyond satiety? Is it immoral to sit and play video games so long that you get a clot in your leg? These are victimless crimes. Neither the law nor God will punish you for overindulging in an activity that involves no victim other than oneself. To declare that getting stoned is immoral is just arbitrary. Believe it if you like, but you have no right to impose that belief on others.

Drug addiction is a physical addiction. Do you realize that there are addicts who never even chose to take the drug in the first place? Wives whose husbands tied them down and injected them with heroin, for example. Personally I would not compare drug addiction to devotion to God.

I'm not going to comment about the abortion case, because you insist on referring to Ron Paul as "surrender monkey." You plainly hate the man, so there's no point even discussing this issue with you.

My father served during WWII and Korea, my son served and was almost killed in Iraq, and I served during Viet Nam. I do not like anybody who hates America and blames her for every problem in the world like Ron Paul does.
If he had lived during the Revolutionary War or War of 1812 he would have sided with the British. He would have sided with Hitler during WWII. He would have NEVER retaliated against Japan, (He would have said their attack on Pearl Harbor was our fault like he did with 9/11).
No I do not like any surrender monkey who wants to put his head in the sand and feels if he appeases our enemies enough they will leave us alone. Bullies do not go after the strong, they go after cowards, and cut and run is the king of cowards.

You're wrong. Ron Paul would have been one of the founding fathers of this country. I respect your history of military service, but let me ask you this: If you were military age right now, would you go to Libya or Syria when Obama sends ground troops to overthrow the heads of these sovereign nations? Would you justify your actions by saying you're protecting our country from Al Qaeda, when our forces are fighting on the same side as Al Qaeda in Libya? At what point do you stand up and refuse to take part in wars that are unconstitutional, immoral, strategically nonsensical, and economically devastating? That's what Ron Paul is doing. He is not, to use your favorite silly ad hominem, a "surrender monkey." He would defend our country in a legitimate conflict. For one thing, he would defend our borders:

1.Physically secure our borders and coastlines.
2. Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas.
3. No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That’s a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws.
4. No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules. But taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services.
5. End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong.
6. Pass true immigration reform. The current system is incoherent and unfair. But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation. This is insanity. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same rules and waiting periods.

What sense does it make to send our young men to defend the borders of countries that have not attacked us, when our own borders are under seige?
