In 1997, the British government confiscated handguns from the people of Britain. Thanks to mandatory gun registration, owners had little choice but to capitulate, as those who failed to turn in their weapons voluntarily would be easy to hunt down and easy to imprison.
And now these same law abiding British citizens–for it is always the law abiding whose rights and property government seems most eager to steal–these same people have been left defenseless, watching helplessly as their property and livelihoods are being stolen, just as their weapons had been years earlier, by a criminal class only marginally different from that which robbed them of their ability to fight back.
And who are the rioters? Though most have been Blacks, using the shooting death of gangbanger and drug dealer Mark Duggan as an excuse for looting and mayhem, some previously law abiding Brits have joined in, according to a London cop.

All in all, the rioters and looters are products of the British welfare state, the most profound example of the economic and societal plague of liberalism in the western hemisphere.

Remember the Muslim Lesbian bloggers from Damascus and Cairo early this year. They turned out to be middle aged (probably liberal) American men.
Anonymous posters on the Internet (and I'll even include myself in this) aren't always the most credible sources. Credibility is built over time, and with proven history. I don't know which blog had this information, how long it was established, and how much credibility this "bobby" had established over a longer term. Without a link to the source blog, it's impossible to tell how credible that source is.
"Reporters" in the propaganda ministry are incredibly lazy about authenticating and verifying credibility of online sources.

You may be right. Perhaps this “London Cop” is simply another political operative with an axe to grind or agenda to fulfill. And in this case, it would be for the purpose of relieving blacks of sole blame for the rioting and looting, hoping to spread it out among the gainfully employed and the better educated.
One often hears the World War mentioned as having removed the brave men from the gene pool. But this simply cannot be the case since PC is also affecting countries like Sweden and others that were only lightly affected by the fighting.
This is all about some dangerous and destructive ideas becoming fashionable as a result of the war. Propaganda and the mass media running amok. If you trace the march of the PC movement you wil find that it coincides exactly with the spread of mass media and the growing influence of PCers in schools.
People today are not born craven cowards. They have been taught to be by the leftist self-hating traitors. But what has been taught can be untaught. Forget about elections. That is where the real struggle for conservatism lies.
You might be onto something there. I clicked the link in the story which led to the account from "Inspector Winter" at http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/8697940/On-the-front-line-of-the-riots-with-the-police.html. On that page, there's a link to "Inspector Winter on Twitter." Looking at his tweet history, I can't find anything over 8 days or so old. And he's a prolific tweeter now. Way too much tweet traffic for a real cop, IMO.

I deal with people in England, and I can't say his written dialect is wrong, but it doesn't seem quite right either.
I can't find anything on the telegraph.co.uk site from Inspector Winter before August 8. Searching for an exact quote from his blog turns up so many blog posts quoting his entire story from the telegraph.co.uk site that I can't find his actual blog.
From an Internet forensics point of view, I haven't ruled out the very likelly possibility that "Inspector Winter" is a completely fictional "London Cop."
