Then the gloves come off at least from yours truly.
I hope it doesn’t come to that.
Rick Perry better make damned sure to put a muzzle on the people working for him with regards to the “quitting” issue and Sarah Palin.
If he does that good for him. But if one of his staff members (or himself) goes Ed Rollins on Sarah Palin and the quitting meme then it becomes all-out war between the Palinistas and the Perry supporters.
I don’t want it to ever come to that.
Fight fair; that’s all I’m saying.
Rick Perry quit as Governor? When did this happen?
I was just curious about those consequences. ;-)
Anybody who gets so mentally tied up in a candidate that they start spouting this kinda BS is flipping nuts, in the same way Paultoids and Obama worshipers are.
Quit wanking into toilet paper and get a life dimbulb.
From all appearances, Palin and Perry like and respect each other and I don't see them getting into the gutter.
Neither one of them really has much control over what their supporters can say or do.
The only thing either of them could do is maybe condemn one of their supporters doing something tacky like say, putting an ad in a newspaper asking the general public to report things about their sex lives.
We all hope things will stay civil, but we also know from experience that they won't.
If the candidates themselves can stay above the fray, that should be acceptable.
That is so ludicrous. Fair fight requires bringing up material issues in a candidates past. Particularly the issues surrounding service. What are you afraid of? Why don’t you defend the “quitting” issue on the merits? Why should Perry’s campaign bring it up?
