So, the other day Im thinking to myself, who are the Tea Party? Were actually a really diverse group, crossing lines of party, religion and race, even income divisions. What holds us together as a group? And then it dawned on me, that in addition to believing in small government, self-reliance and adherence to the Constitution, there is probably an even easier way to define the Tea Party. Were tax payers, basically. I would guess the majority in the Tea Party are those who actually pay the taxes.
So when Maxine Waters, piped up with The Tea Party can go straight to He** I thought to myself Thats interesting
More than telling the taxpayer where to go.
Racist Maxine Waters said the (old White) Tea Party (people) can go straight to hell.
Waters and other Black democrats have been saying all along the Tea Party are just a bunch of old White people. Now we know how she and they really feel about old White people, they can just go straight to hell.
She is a good representative of the Democratic/Progressive party that does not want Independent or Republican/Tea Party crossover votes.
Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.) bashes tea party as the enemy of America, normal hateful vitriolic rhetoric from the racist democrats.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) was at it again at a townhall
meeting in Florida Monday but this time she had help from Rep.
Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.). The meeting in Miami was a part of a
five-city tour to draw attention to high unemployment among the black
community and featured Democratic members of the Congressional Black
Caucus, plus Jesse Jackson and others. The presenters were tripping over
themselves to out-attack the Tea Party:
The real enemy is the Tea Party - lets remember that,
said Rep. Frederica Wilson of Miami Gardens, host of the meeting and
jobs fair. The Tea Party holds Congress hostage They have one goal in
mind, and thats to make President Obama a one-term president.
She got energetic applause from the crowd of hundreds at Mt. Hermon
AME Church in Miami Gardens. So did Rep. Maxine Waters of California,
who recently said the tea party should Go straight to hell.
Im in church. Im not going to repeat that, Waters said Monday.
She also said: We have to stand up and fight. Its fight time Were
not afraid of the tea party In this struggle, we have to define who we
are, what the president is doing and not let our voices be overshadowed
by the tea party.
For his part, the Rev. Jesse Jackson said the Tea Party should be
called the Fort Sumter Tea Party that sought to maintain states rights
Truly, its tiresome to continue to document these atrociously
irresponsible statements on the part of legislators and activists but,
as long as folks continue to say them, Ill continue to document them
because they reveal a blind prejudice where the Tea Party is concerned.
Wilsons comment is especially telling. She thinks the extent of the Tea
Partys ambition is the ousting of Barack Obama. But what the Tea Party
envisions is no more and no less than a solution to the nations
growth-of-government-spending problem. True, based on his past record
and his insistence on the passage of a fourth entitlement program that
will astronomically increase our debt, Obama doesnt appear to be the
president to make that Tea Party dream come true so, yes, Tea Partiers
will work to vote him out. But the Tea Partys opposition to Obama
doesnt stand abjectly its driven by actual principles and desired
