Well, let’s if you understand what it means to be tough:

What’s the toughest thing a politician faces?

So-— if the state of Texas was being damaged and Perry could end it by resigning, would he put the welfare of his state ahead of his own political ambitions?

>>> Only Sarah is pre-sanitized by the Dem/Misleadia dobermans, to the point where they have nothing new to throw at her that will ever stick. <<<

And that right there is why she scares the living crap out of them. They shot their wad, and got bupkis. They know they’ve screwed the pooch because no matter what they come up with, whatever the make up, she’ll just bat them around like a cat toying with a mouse.

They’ve lost ALL their credibility where she is concerned.

What’s the one thing on earth more coveted than money?

Answer—power.

The Office of Governor in Alaska holds more power than most if not all other state governorships.

Do you know how much power Sarah Palin gave up in resigning? It’s very rare for a politician to resign when it doesn’t involve some sort of corruption on their part. Remember, she was without blame.

Governor Palin’s decision to resign was both selfless and courageous.

Nooo, she's a coward running from the lefties, and other sh!t for brains reasoning.

You're spot on reasonisfaith, Gov Palin is just the person to right this ship of state. All you detractors need to step back and look at this from a politico/philosophical point of view. There isn't a single candidate out there more aligned with the philosophy of true Conservatives. Get your head out of your collective a$$es and stop listening to the talking points.

Philosophy, who needs it? YOU DO!

I still can’t help but remember the McCain endorsement. Doesn’t seem that was such a courageous decision. We get six years of the senile bumbler and Palin comes away squeaky clean politically. And when exactly will she decide to enter the battlefield—when it suits? What about when she’s president— will she need months to make a decision. Just asking. No personal attacks please—looking for information only.

Guys..I know that you turn off the sound when Obama comes on the tube, as I do.
Now I know that you will watch President Sarah because it’s your duty to your Country to know the politics of the day./sarc
As a woman I can say what all of you are thinking..can you imagine the Foreign Kings, Diplomats etc. disagreeing with a beautiful woman ..she will dazzle them and they will leave under her spell. It’s going to be fun to watch.

The story doesn’t necessarily follow the headline but if Palin is the nominee, you’d darned betcha I’ll be voting for her.

You may be right. I haven't seen to many state by state polls for this primary other than the typical, i.e.; IA, NH, SC. I did run across this Gallop break down that compares candidate intensity vs. the amount of name recognition. It also includes Palin.

http://www.gallup.com/poll/149138/Perry-Rises-Recognition-Maintains-Positive-Image.aspx?utm_source=tagrss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=syndication&utm_term=Politics

As you can see, even though everyone knows Palin, her intensity is average. Guiliani is even ahead. That is some tough information.

I can't help but laugh to see this housewife from west-nowhere, who the entire Dem/Rep/National Media have done everything in their power to paint as a dimwit, just smiling away as she makes obvious sport of slapping the stupid off their drool-flecked faces.

It's priceless. You just can't make this stuff up. LMAO!

Reference to the Mccain endorsement for re-election to the Senate, this was not just loyalty to him for choosing her as his VP nominee, it was Sarah being pragmatic and insightful. She came out for Mccain before JD got in, and JD was a disaster from the get go. We all could be fans of the Radio Host JD, or the Commentator on Fox JD, but in a State like Arizona, if you want to run for office, you do not alienate a large portion of the Constituency. Being a strident Talk Show Guy is not conducive to being elected to State Wide Office. He also had other problems that made her endorsement of Mccain look even more prescient.

We all now that Mccain is a loosy goosy Prostitute, but he still votes mostly conservative. He may be a Prostitute, but he is our Prostitute and is an R,not D vote in the Senate. Sadly, JD would have lost the election.

Lol. My husband doesn’t follow politics but she came on tv and wanted to know what movie she was in. When I told him who she was, he said wow I’d vote for her.

That she scores as she does without having announced yet, and in the face of rampant and frequent media pronouncements that she isn't running, and if she does, she won't win, piled on top of the most vicious character smearing non-stop for the past three years...

...I have to say she's doing amazingly well. Once she does announce, and spends a couple months getting her message out, she'll be so far ahead of the rest of the milquetoast, birds-of-a-feather also-rans that it won't even be a race to the finish.

You're looking at pretty good evidence of a coming tsunami-style wipeout. Landslide of historic proportions.

LOL.I would imagine the Senate and Congress first questions to her will be..."What do you want and how fast can we get it for you." I wouldn't want to be on the opposing side in negotiations with her. She has grit.

I’m sure there’s lots of good words in that long post. But it seems redundant; the headline says it all.

“If Sarah Palin Wins the Nomination, here’s why you will vote for her” — because she is the nominee. Who else WOULD we vote for at that point, Obama? 3rd party? Stay home? No way.
