The science is NOT settled. There is most definitely a rational basis to be skeptical of people like Mr. Gore who cry "the sky is falling" when the science just does not support it. He has made a lot of money off of the scaremongering, that in itself leads me to be skeptical.
And because I'm skeptical I'm comparable to slave owners I suppose.

The riddler Gore claims that we should all listen to those caught with their hand in the cookie jar scientists who tell us that we humans are causing global warming, or climate change as they call it now, or we’re racists if we don’t.
But the riddler Gore himself must disclaim years and years of thousands and thousands of scientists in order to put forth his claims that humans are the cause of global warming.
Gore has to dismiss settled science that the earth’s temperature was a lot warmer then it is now, way back when the dinosaurs roamed. But then there was a world shattering catastrophe that brought about the ice age causing instant death to the dinosaurs and covering much of the northern hemisphere with a thick layer of ice. This thick layer of ice dredged out the great lakes, created mountain ranges, changing the surface of the land as it retreated, warming slowly and milting over millions of years.
There have been temperature differences brought about by volcanoes and general earth burps that have caused a fluctuation in the earth’s templates such as the little ice age, where the average temperature was 4 degrees Fahrenheit lower then today’s average temperature. But all in all, the earth has been warming BACK UP for millions of years. And that Mr. Riddler Gore is the answer to why I don’t believe your silly butt or your cooked up science you want to use to sell Americans the Brooklyn Bridge. Because Mr. Riddler Gore, the answer to your riddle is in your riddle, the earth is just simply warming BACK UP!
