The latest issue of Capitol File magazine has a glowing feature on CBS News Chief White House Correspondent Norah ODonnell. In it she claims that past journalists that have filled the role of chief White House correspondent for a major network have been legendary and the very best in the field. Of this very best she laughably elevates discredited CBS News anchor Dan Rather into that pantheon.
Capitol File is a magazine that focuses on D.C. elites, the movers and shakers, the bight lights in the City On The Hill. In its pages you will see all the beautiful people of Washington D.C. It is, we are told, a place for power and politics, CAPITOL FILE chronicles and celebrates the most influential players, cultural connoisseurs, fashion sophisticates, and philanthropic leaders in the Washington, DC metropolitan region.

Nora, Nora, how can one so pretty be so dumb...sheesh...
Ahhh yes, cute but Stupid.
Yeah...I remember seeing him on TV reporting from the bush....I was nearing 18 and graduating from HS. Couldn’t afford college, couldn’t get a job except for slinging fries....all because of draft status - inevitable. Yeah....I remember him Nora. The pitiful thing is that you probably are only old enough to remember his lies and fabrication and attacks on Bush...and you think he was one of the very best.....Now I guess I’ll have to remember you....
He WAS! He’s right up there with Bagdad Bob! He was one of the best at spreading commie lib propaganda and bull**** until all of his lying to “the little people” finally caught up with him.
Hey, Nora, want come up to my apartment and see my National Guard memos file?
And Katie Couric is one of the best news anchors CBS ever had
Not a very inspired thread if you aks me.
What a mindless ass.
Norah has always been a brainwashed Marxist bimbo. She’s just singing the praises of her role model.
Rather Biased is a liberal. That’s a prerequisite for being a “great journalist” in the eyes of the lamestream media.
A few years of hanging with The People of the Lie, and she will be just as ugly-to-the-bone as Helen Thomas.
She’s a “Media Ho” too.
Nora is a “post turtle”..
And her head isn't much better.
You are a journalism professor or teacher. Assignment you gave your students was for an original news story. One brings you their story that's too good to be true from sources with an agenda with supporting documents from an anonymous source that can't be verified. What grade do you give them?
I forgot to add that the student burned all “original” documents to protect their source.
Now THAT'S ugly, please, no pics...
The mark of a truly great journalist is being better at faking documents than the second-stringers Obama had to rely on
She’s just nostalgic for the salad days [pre-Internet]; pining for the fjords.
Thank you, Nora. Glad that you have finally established that for all the rest of us.
And followed closely by Walter Cronkite (or Walter Crankcase as my grandad says)
She’s a pretty good example of just how low the standards of “journalism” really are.
Its pretty funny - that she is so delusional - that she thinks anyone gives a dog fart what she has to say about anything.
Norah that is subjective, but I can assure that there were a lot better journalists than Dan Rather.
This “Cute” one was hired because she was a woman looks are only window dressing to the fact affirmative action demanded we hire blacks and women.
Its come the time to fire these folks because they are useless!
the bight lights in the City On The Hill. Typo. BliGht lights. There, fixed it.
My favorite Dan-ism: “You would sooner find a tall talking broccoli stick to offer to mow your lawn for free.”
td-ism: She’s purtier than a speckled pup in a litter of runts, but if brains were gunpowder she couldn’t blow her nose.
This is arguably true meaning they all suck.
Josef Goebbels probably had his grüppies as well.
Yes he was. Right after Walter Duranty, Jayson Blair, Mike Barnicle, Janet Cook, and David Halevi.
