President Barack Obama used his weekly radio address to engage in some political gamesmanship while calling for an end to political gamesmanship. Desperate to look like he's doing anything in light of yesterday's horrendous jobs report, the president used this morning's speech to once again claim there is a crisis looming and the Surface Transportation Bill will be allowed to expire putting 1 million workers in danger of losing their jobs if Congress fails to act. But the deadline for extension is weeks away and work on it is already well underway.

The degree of panic is directly proportional to the amount of golf games Obama plays.

Not to mention that construction season is drawing to a close in much of the country. Almost if not all work to be done in 2011 is already contracted out.

No, no, no. Please keep ratcheting it up Obama. Let even the dimmest of American’s see what you really are. Just an empty suit playing political games.

The final steps in all this will be his purple shirted and "pants on the ground" minions being completely let loose in the streets. They will gang up on Tea Party meetings and Republican rallies, physically attack anyone bold enough to place a pro-R or anti-O bumper sticker on their car or a sign on their lawn, and Federal (and much union local) law enforcement will be on
their side.
I know some are going to say this has already started, and they're right. But 2012 is going to look like 1968 times a factor.

Best idea instead of bumper stickers likely to attract vandalism on your car by purple shirted marxists:
put a “Why so Socialist” Joker_Obama sticker on every gas pump you ever use between now and the election.

Oh, you wanted consistency; thoughts, let alone policy, connected one to another in some sort of constant relationship, words with a shelf-life measured in years, not days. Sorry, that is 2012 doors down the hall.
